"Enscape Loading" but not opening

    Hi all,

    I'm working with a sketchup file that is proving problematic. It is from a designer, and includes geometry exported from Revit as well as native SketchUp geometry. When I try and run Enscape, the loading screen appears, but it never actually starts. I have left it for well over an hour, to no avail.


    It goes without saying that it is a geometry issue - I have split out the problematic portions, and can get Enscape to run with the other elements (Revit export of the base build works fine, for example). I suspect it is a grouping issue - when I explode geometry and paste it into a fresh scene, it appears in an Enscape window that has been started when the scene is bare.


    However, with the thousands of groups and components in this scene, this is an unrealistic workflow. Is there any means to force Enscape to run? This is the first time i have encountered this issue across many complicated and messy files.

    I have tried on my workstation (Dual xeon, 256gb RAM, 1080Ti) and our VR machine (I7, 64gb ram, 1080Ti) and neither works.

    Further to this - the "Exporting Geometry" bar will get to a varying number, depending on what is in the scene, then disappear, rather than hit 100%, load textures and render the model

    Thanks Demian. It appears to be quite a few different objects. I'll go about creating some skp files for you once the deadline is gone!

    Thank you very much. In the meantime, it would be great if you could also briefly send in some feedback as described here. We could already find out what may be causing this problem when looking at the log files and the machine information which we'll receive accordingly!

    Enscape 2.7 appears to be loaded in SketchUP 2019 but it doesn't show up in the Extensions Pull-Down and I can't find a Toolbox. In Extension Manager it says it is signed but there's a gray diamond in the left hand column. I tried uninstalling and I could reload 2.6 and it worked fine. I rebooted and reloaded 2.7 with the same result as before.
