Please make it so we can change colors in the asset library. A blue pot only works in like one out of ten schemes, if that. It seriously limits the usefulness of the library.

+1 for this after trying changing color on barbeque grill from red>black
All your upvotes and feedback has been forwarded, thanks a lot.
If we were able to override materials, I would prefer a system where we could 'recycle' materials that already exist in the project. For example: I already have a few furniture pieces in my Revit model with a fabric that I like. I would like to assign that material to some Enscape assets as well.
Perhaps a system that saves the overrides in the file? It could save it in some kind of xml format. Like
[asset GUID] [overwritten material ID] [material to overwrite with ID]
The benefit of this is that the overrides would live in the file, ensuring it's consistent for all users.
Good ideas Pieter I like where you're going. One simple way might be to have the main color of the model as the default material, so you can add a color to the proxy and it will color the model with that material. For example, the body paint of the car models referenced could be the default material - they could be placed in the model with a car paint material already applied to the proxy. You could then tweak that material in the editor, or add your own material.

Gladly - thank you as well.
This is an essential feature which should be a very high priority! Imagine being in a presentation and saying to a client; "This is exactly what your project will look like, but with different colors and materials..." To a client / lay-person that statement makes no sense. It either is what they want or it is not.

Also, tinting would be a huge help on all assets. May even be a way to bridge the gap in the software while you figure out the textures issue....
