+1 ! It would come in handy if I was able to put assets on top of eachothers surface. For example: Pillows on a chair or couch.
Welcome to our Forum and thanks a lot for your upvote! Just to make sure, what CAD solution are you using, and do you generally struggle with placing Assets on top of each other, or would you simply like more individual Assets like for example, plants without pots, and only pots... more pillows etc.
Are we getting any closer to being able to change colors on the assets? (Even if it's merely being able to change just one primary color - like how referenced SU models work now if you use the default material in the referenced file.)

It's unfortunate that this was not selected for the roadmap for 3.3. There seems to be broad support for this feature so it's surprising that this is been put on hold for so long.

I can understand your frustration Pieter, I really do - As you've seen posted by Adrian already though, it is something which we plan to add in a future version, that is for sure, just not yet whether it'll be with 3.4. As usual, I will let you know once I have any news to share or even a concrete release date eventually.
