Is there a way to make a material have transparency and no refelction? AND be able to control the level of transparency?
(and be able to keep the material texture graphic)

Hello, test this solution, on your material name add "frosted" and not "glass" or "glazing"

norbertsf the keyword "frosted","marble" or "plastic" should fit your needs.
You maybe have to play a little bit with the opacity of the material.
A transparent material with your wanted property should be reachable with the existing keywords.
Jonathan Knoefel : is a frosted effect really available? I tried it at Rhino and it doesn't work and I can't see it at this list:

Micha frosted is available but not in Rhino. All keywords that are giving you're material surface roughness won't have any effect.
This is caused by the fact that Rhino, in contrast to SketchUp, has a value for roughness in the material properties. So if you want to get a rougher surface, you'll have to turn up the roughness in your material.

Than it seems to be a bug, because I don't get frosted glass by any slider.
I think it could be nice if we could get two kind of materials:
* standard glass and the gloss finish can be used for frost effects, reflection and refraction are controled
* support of "frosted" and the gloss finish controls the reflection roughness only, good for transluzent plastic
