enscape.dll / vulcancontrol.dll error with EXE

    We have a client who is having trouble opening an EXE that we created for them. The file opens fine on our computers. One user at the client get the error "This application failed to start because Escape.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." And the other user gets an error about "vulcancontrol.dll" (sorry I don't know the exact error).


    Any ideas what may cause these errors?

    Hey designmule , jmQrsQ , first off, please kindly make sure that you're exporting the .exe standalones through our latest (hotfix) release, Enscape 2.5.1. That should at least give you a correct error message, in this case, it could be an outdated graphics card issue, so please make very sure that the latest drivers have been installed:


    You can download a new driver from the Nvidia homepage.

    Or, if they have an AMD card installed, directly from the AMD site.


    If that doesn't help at all, could you kindly submit a feedback report from the machines on which you cannot execute the files? That would be very helpful. Please also add your forum name or some other reference in the submission so that we know it's from you.
