Thanks a lot for the further votes I'll be taking into account - I also think that this would be a great to have feature, so this another topic I'll gladly be discussing with our product manager.

+1 +1 +1 +1 alpha channel absolutely a necessity. I have many trees up against a sky in many of my renders and mateiral id simply cannot accurately remove the sky with all the leaves. Causes many issues. Please fix asap.

Thanks added these votes as well!

The alpha channel has been "taken into account" since 2019 (according to the forum replies) ¿any chance we can get a credible ETA for this crucial feature?

I'm afraid not at the moment - I wish I could say more and I'm pressing on to help with implementing this. For now, I have also gladly forwarded your upvote to the topic as well.

I'm in for an alpha channel please
seriously. TARGA files from 30 years ago had this......

... and if all these so important "functional" image export formats would get any rework, a clear improvement of the color contour quality of these images (e.g. Object ID) would be very desirable. Currently using this image data simply requires too much fiddling skills with too much expenditure of time within Photoshop.

DC8Studio , I know many here have been waiting for an alpha channel in .png files functionality, and it's something we plan to implement with Enscape 3.3.
EGIE , thanks for the Feedback - I reckon you tried increasing the output resolution of your renderings as well in general already when working post-process with Photoshop afterwards? That should at least help already when working on smaller details and such since you also have more pixels to work with technically. If you also maybe have some examples, feel free to attach them which I can then forward to our Developers as well. Thanks a lot in advance as always!

and YES, it's great to have these functional image exports at all !!
Nevertheless, in the current quality, these exports lag far behind our required quality and the competition, which on our user side requires a considerable amount of skills and, above all, far too much time.
So I stick to my request above that if you touch this export feature anyway, please also try to improve the output quality.
