Are there only certain electric lights that can be used that work the same between Revit and Enscape? It seems no matter what fixture we bring into a view it renders only as a point source would even if you change the light definition to be anything other than point source (i.e. a rectilinear fixture creates a diffuse circle of light on a surface rather than a diffuse rectangular shape). Are there Enscape specific fixtures that need to be used or should any/most manufacturers' light fixture BIM models work?

Hi,
thanks a lot for asking! As you noticed correctly Enscape does not support rectilinear light fixtures at the moment. However we're already working on it, so support of rectilinear light fixtures will likely come in the not too distant future

Hi there, I see that it is a little late but I have the same problem, do you have some news on this point?

Hey AdamHu ,
Yes, Enscape by now supports any Light Shape and any Light Distribution Type in Revit. So rectangular light sources should show up without problem.
If you experience otherwise, can you send us a screenshot of the issue to support@enscape3d.com?
Thank you very much!
