When i import a model from archicad all the materials are about 10% see through. i have to manually adjust every single material and texture.

I was not able to reproduce this behavior yet - maybe you could kindly send us the corresponding .skp model for me to check out?
If that is not possible at all, could you briefly guide me through the steps you took when it comes to getting the model from ArchiCAD into SketchUp? What I did is simply save the project as .skp file through ArchiCAD. Alongside, it would be great if you could send us screenshots of one of the "transparent" material inside the Enscape Material Editor which you'll find in SketchUp, right next to Enscape itself.

i simply go to 3d view and export to sketchup from archicad.
when i launch enscape in sketchup all default materials have a funny opacity. ARCHICAD 3006

Please also add some reference like your forum name in the submission form so that we know it's from you. The log files which we'll receive from your machine could further indicate why you're experiencing this.
Also, please make sure that your Enscape is up to date as described here.
