thinhpham , glass (transparent surfaces) do not cast a shadow, nor a colored shadow at the moment. This is mostly due to performance reasons. The functionality to have glass shadows is definitely on our agenda and as hardware gets better and better I don't see a reason why we won't implement it in the future. I've also added your upvote to the topic on our agenda to state your demand.
Transparent materials don't cast shadows. Simple as that.
The only way I have found to get transparent objects to cast shadows it is to use PNG files (they have an embedded alpha channel - but I think Enscape reads it as a just a polar clear/solid rather than proper gradient: you also have to use a pointillism approach to shading.)
Hope you guys can fix all the common issue as soon as possible.
Enscape is fast but compared to vray that there are still many small essential issues that needed to be fixed.
+1 for fixing shadow issues

Forwarded your request as well. It'll be a technical challenge to implement this, but every upvote is of course being counted!

Hi, we would love to have the shadow cast on transparent materials.
We create light and media installations, so this feature would be very handy for our digital prototyping.
Is there a possibility that this feature will be included in the next versions?

I am afraid, it isn't likely that this will be a feature in an upcoming version soon mainly due to its complexity - I'll still forward your inquiry as a feature request accordingly so that the further demand for this can be tracked internally. I appreciate the input.
