Where can I find the Enscape material editor?

? That is it.

Basically you assign a texture. (*) Then apply a bump map to it. Then apply a shine map or universal shine to it. You can't see any of these changes in SU: only in the Enscape window.

(* you can apply a tint to it and fade it out at this stage or to tweak it)

You can tag the surface as a Special material (grass, water, foliage and clearcoat) and it drastically alter the way the texture appears in Enscape.

If you don't see the Enscape toolbar, R-click on a blank toolbar space and tic the "Enscape" and "Enscape capturing" toolbars on.

Each button has text if you hover the mouse over it, but the one you want is a cog in-front of a checkerboard pattern (between the tree and speaker)
