Is there a way to have Enscape remember the last bitmap path you used? I like to stay in one directory and try several HDRI files - But enscape now resets to the default folder every time and I have to search the network again to get to the correct folder..

same thing happens to me with material textures.
I think that there is some issue/ bug with version 2.6.
Before it did not happen to me.

The ideal functionality would be for each type of browsing Enscape would remember the last location... So each of the following would be remembered separately.
- save image
- save / load proxy
- load texture
- load skybox (could be combined with texture but ideally seperate)
The functionality has been (prior to a recent bug? I havent seen this yet) to remember the last saved location for any one of these. This is confusing and leads to saving in the wrong directory.

fyi... If it truly is defaulting to a single directory each time a workaround for now could be.... set up shortcuts in that directory to quickly jump to where you need to be.

(If you are working on one job for a long time with a specific folder set-up, you can change the "default path" from the General settings menu) ...Hang on - it's gone... - someone's stolen the setting!
