Asset library - Revit file

Several people have asked to get the library in Revit format.

I like the workflow to open up a file select the assets that i need and copy them into my project.
This way i work way faster then going through the asset library menu each time.

Unfortunately is Enscape not willing to give us these kind of file.

So we have to do it our selves.

I have started placing the objects in Revit files and tried to group them. (Revit 2020)

So far i have done 4 categories and will do the others as soon as possible, links will be provided below.
There will also be one container that rules them all..

sitting people will be divided in 3 categories 415, 485 and special..
the sitting height is based on 415 or 485... the two cubs in front can be used in chairs and benches
the cubs have there own subcategory so can be turned off in views..

These cubs will be placed in the street furniture and normal furniture.
The cubs together with the comment in the people asset 415 or 485 will trigger the dynamo script to place people on chairs and benches..

so it is to much time for you guys..but it is fine when a lot of your clients need to do this work on there own.. And with a simple script all assets could be placed in a file. Would not take more then 2 hours to write some code and place it when you have access to the source code of the library.

But i will spend more then two hours of my time to make this and share it with the community..

I understand the workload and as a community we are happy to do some work. Love the new 2.6.1
As i stated in the ideas area of this forum as well, please at least mark the new items as new..

now i have to go over all of them to see if they are in my project or not.. if they are marked i know which ones to add an can update the file more easily


now it is a big puzzle, and not only your time is limited so is ours. so please help us to help you.

Because the library is expanding the download time is going up expensivel... the library really needs an offline version that can be synced.

sdbrownaia i understand the problem and i am also running low on my time to do this. For me the workflow of going into a file grab everything i need and paste it into my working project saves a lot of time, i just provide these files because other people don't have to create them. I will try to update as much as i can, but help will be appriciated then like you stated as well, these should be files Enscape provides. Whebn you have acces to the code it should be easy to write a script that places all assets into a revit file... should be 15min of work instead of the hours that i have to spend. But they are short of time as well, but i do think they don't see the importance of this. It really helps our workflow

The white blocks have a separate subcategory, they are used for the dynamo script to place the sitting people

sitting people, kids, special people have a comment in the type comments, so the dynamo scripts can react to that.

got the vegetation placed, will probably add some type comments to make the dynamo scripts work better..

first test to place trees on a curved surface look good (script that i had before only place in a horizontal plane)
