Metallic Chameleon Paint (REVIT)

  • Hi there,

I don't know if this is the correct space to post this kind of issues...but anyway.

I'm working in a project in Revit where it's needed to incorporate a Chameleonic Painting, as the image below.

By now i tried configure the material properties and rendering with enscape due the client want to see in VR, but the result isn't so good.

Anyone has try to do something similar?...which techniques did you use to achieve this?

    Thank you for your help.

    Best Regards.

I've been test the material properties in Revit , and i'm not sure why Enscape doesn't show the setup on the material properly:

    Here the Revit Material Properties:

Here the Revit Result (by rendering):

    And here the Enscape Result:

    Could anyone help me?
    Thanks.

  • Various Revit procedural textures are not supported. Use a normal map instead. ljohnson I would not recommend using a water material for anything that's not water.

The view dependant color shift that you like to have (like in soap bubbles) is not supported in Enscape right now.
