Hi EGab0522! Is it the case that no light at all emits in Enscape? Or, is it the case that you can see the light when you change the time of day to night? If the light appears to be off during daytime, then this is generally normal behavior, since the sunlight has a tendency to crush any artificial lighting.

Hi Helen, here are the screenshots when i change the room ambient to 3%
Here is another screenshots using skybox without ies . spotlight doesnt shows the cone effect in the wall. when i loded the ies file it turns totally dark.
EGab0522 Initially, based on the appearence of your Settings menu, it looks like you are using an outdated version of Enscape. Would you initially pleaseupdate your version of Enscape, and let me know if this already resolves the issue?
If not, would you please be so kind as to send both the IES and HDRI files to support@enscape3d.com for further testing? Thanks in advance!
or maybe my outdated graphic card cause this issue?
EGab0522 It certainly can't hurt to update your graphics card driver, if it is outdated. Feel free to send us your logfiles via the Feedback button; we can also take a look at those.
Hello. I am having problems with IES lighting profile. When the spotlight is shining down, the IES looks good. When I invert it upside down, it looks weird and not illuminating fully. Same goes when I rotate it sideways. Can anyone help? Thanks

Hey Timots_Wang & welcome to our forums!
This was actually a known issue we've only fixed recently for the upcoming 2.8 release. However you can already check out the latest Preview version of 2.8 if you like to: Releasenotes: Current Version 2.7.x + Preview Version 2.8

Hahaha this is good thank you . I will be checking it out. I hope that displacement maps will also be included in the future versions

I've also forwarded your upvote to the displacement maps feature request on our agenda to state the further demand for this function, thanks a lot.
How do you manage to change the color of the light to yellow? I seem to not be able to do that , can only use white...

I feel Your problem.. applied in my company for an upgrade.. still waiting

You just paint it in sKetchup model directly with any color You want .. it will take on the colour of the material.. no need of it being iluminous.. i guess it takes only basic colour.. though You can apply grass too, if You want to..

IES file can have different intesities.. Some people like it to represent actuall power of lightball (but then how they know if somebody will use lumens or candela or Watts or sth). I prefer when it is standarised.. scaled so maximum is 1.. anyway IES is mainly for representing distibution of light (Power as well, but this unit problem makes it difficult) So Your IES might be standarised to 1 so being very wick.. tried incresing brightness? probably..
I have another issue .. will add it just here.. When I use IES spot light with some specific lamp.. Esset or not.. then my nice IES pattern gets additionally obstructed by that light coverage, mounting elemnts etc.. and because it is treated as point light those shadows are quite sharp..
Is there a way to have a modelled lamp giving exactly lighting described by IES? without extra shadows? there is no problem with lights like ceiling, street light.. generally any giving light in one direction cos I can move my cone in that direction and no obstruction accurs.. But when light is emitted more wildly.. up and down.. it is difficult (if not impossible) to find good spot..
Is it possible that You could make lamps being imviseable to that one IES source in them.. Or make automatic (or optional) radius for IES where geometry being inside it wouldn't produce shadow from that specific source but would be light by it... I think there are solutions like it.. Maybe it complicates a bit..
I actually noticed something today..
You actually might have already in ENS something I was talking about.. Not sure if it is a bug, because this lights are all the same component.. Yesterday I was looking everything from quite close view.. So I got obstructed IES Light by the asset model.. like the light in the middle.. today I had open the file again and noticed my IES has no extra shadows.. but I zoomed in and they appeared.. zoomed out again clear IES..
I can not say though why the one light in the middle doesn't behave the same.. it is exactly the same component..
Just gave me some hope, cos it is behaviour I was looking for.. so maybe nothing more than a little tweak for IES light is needed.
