10.5.15
I wanted to know the version of the drivers that Gadget has because it seems to me that it uses the latest available. This means that not all 3Dconnexion peripherals behave the same.
I just checked: it was 3DxWare 10.6.4, just updated to 10.6.5... still the same.
Thank you !
Tried all the solutions here including archived 3d Connexion drivers. I think I tried every combination and could not make it work. Works in Skp.. works in enscape then I go back to skp and it doesnt work. So frustrating, as this seems to happen every time. I had the same issue getting into 2.6 and 2019 I think.
What 3d mouse do you have? And what driver have you tried?

Space mouse pro. all of them I think. 10-5.15 is the most recent I have found that works (2019 + 2.7 only)
It does not work in 2020 and none of the other drivers seem to allow you to work in both 2020 and enscape simultaneously
I have the space pilot pro, same problem, last working driver 10-5-15. Go to c: programm data-sketchup 2019-sketchup-plugins. Copy the 3dxsketchup folder and the 3dxsketchup.rb file and paste them into sketchup 2020 using the same path.
Yes, it is the right path, it works on my pc and also on my collaborators' pc. You must install the drivers with sketchup 2019 present in the pc and then copy what described in sketchup 2020.
by present do you mean still installed? If so that’s what I did.
I'm sorry, it should work, I can't help you at this point.
worth a try.. thank you
I keep using an old driver 10.5.15 since some newer ones all gave troubles. Pls refer to the 3Dxware website where you can find the old drivers.
Stopped investing my time installing newer drivers from this firm...

were you able to get it to work in skp 2020 and 2.7 simultaneously?
I copy and paste what I wrote on the 3dconnexion forum about the latest driver version:
"Hi everyone, I have tried the new 10.6.6 drivers to see if they solve a problem that has been going on for a year. I use my Space Pilot Pro with Sketchup pro 2020 and Enscape 3d integrated in SketchUp. The latest driver working for me (but also for other SketchUp / Enscape users) is 10.5.15. From version 10.6.xx onwards there is the problem that going from SketchUp to Enscape and back the device freezes and you have to close the programs and reopen them if not even restart the pc. Note that up to the working version, the wording "Trimble Sketchup" remained on the display even when switching to Enscape and back, from 10.6 the wording changes to "Enscape 3d" and thus freezes even when returning to SketchUp. To date I have solved by uninstalling version 10.6.xx, installing old drivers (which do not recognize SketchUp 2020) and physically copying files from SketchUp 2019 to 2020. Today after uninstalling the old drivers and installing 10.6.6 the situation is aggravated. The Space Pilot worked in SketchUp only with Zoom and Pan, no type of rotation, I tried in every way from the settings but nothing done. Turning to Enscape worked the rotation and the various movements but on returning to Sketchup it stopped until Enscape was turned off and returned to malfunction (only zoom and pan). I thought: no problem, I uninstall and use the old drivers. Too bad that the new installer had left a trace in Windows and I had to delete all 3dconnexion files and folders from the C disk to restore with the old drivers. I hope this situation is seen by those who can solve the problem.
Thanks for your attention."
were you able to get it to work in skp 2020 and 2.7 simultaneously?
Nope. In 2020 it works on E3D, not in SU?! One more reason not to upgrade to 2020... First time since SU5 from @Last. Hope they start to listen to their userbase.
by present do you mean still installed? If so that’s what I did.
Maybe I forgot to specify that, if in the path I wrote, when you go to paste the files in SketchUp 2020 there is no "Plugins" folder you have to create it otherwise you can copy the "Plugins" folder from 2019 to 2020.
Thank you for the report Gadget , we'll have to investigate this case. I'll be getting back to you again once we've found a solution.
I have the "workaround" working but I am wondering if there has been any progress on this being fixed for the next round of drivers/software?
