  • .. you should implement transmutr or skimp or universal importer for sketchup... all of these plugins can reduce polygons of you component.. this reduced version can then be used as placeholder inside the "block" representaiton of the proxy.. or you could use fredos plugins portrait and create 2d representations.. as bill boards or as simple top down 2d..

    modelling stuff with sketchup, drawing stuff with vectorworks, rendering with cinema4d r20 + corona render & now of course, enscape :)

    but best of all > experiencing stuff in VR with enscape !!

  • what I say would be a better view of proxy in sketchup.

    For example, in Vray or Corona, proxy assets are dotted, giving the idea of what the object is.

    already in enscape any proxy is a rectangle, this makes it difficult to identify.
