Why is the lighting reddish when using spheres as a light source? simple render and model attached. Compare sphere to IES light source.

Oh my. I just figured it out. The color applied to the light object controls the light color. Boy, I was going along for so long with the presupposition that you can't change the light color in Enscape... but now you can!! Thank you developers!!

... Hi, I don't get it yet - of course, the used material colour affects the light colour (left) . But how does the right light source shown above look exactly because both lightings appear identical, except for the color?

I should have mentioned I'm using the 2.7 preview version of Enscape. The light source for the lamp on the left has a dark brown material applied, the one on the right is using the default material. I hope that is a clear explanation.

You understood my initial post correctly.
I was mistaken in thinking that the difference in color was due to the type of light used. I had a sphere light source in the left lamp, and an IES source in the right lamp.
