If i want to light a building, without using "real" light sources, but just place a large rectangle object as a light, and then make it invisible to the camera - is that possible?

I am not sure if it is what are you looking for. However.
The flat plane is just to bring the light into position, then I set the "visible" parameter to unvisible.

Thanks for your input.
I've tried your suggestion. I modelled in-place a lighthtning device (just a simple box) - added a material with some self illumination, then I unchecked the "visible" option under graphics, but then both the object and the light diassapers :-/
What do I do wrong?
Jorgensen , I also advice against using such a large emissive surface, especially when it's the only light source - this will just create noise which can be avoided by using the built in lights of Revit instead, maybe multiple at once as mentioned by joeykeys .
Also, I'm not entirely sure either how Hans Schmid made it invisible without removing the emitted light. I'll try again, but he'll get back to us again anyway probably.
