I feel like furniture choices are so personal that I almost always go find a skp model of it and I can then change it to my hearts content. I would argue enhancement of the tree / car / people libraries are far more important... as I they are not things that are typically in need of being specific to a project and constantly changing. In other words my clients typically want furniture that really looks like what is specified so I personally pretty much ignore the enscape furniture library as it is too generic. (probably not true with hospital beds and the like)

Hi,
We are making good progress in enhancing the Asset Library and I can already share some of the latest preview images with you.
Thanks Adrian Renner and the team for the effort.
I can see one of the beds I mentioned in my post previously and it's now part of the Asset Library. This is great. I hope more will be included.

Great work and I look forward seeing the whole bunch which you created at Enscape.
I do agree with Pieter though, and I also hope we have the abillity soon to change materials/colors. This would make me use more Enscape objects instead of other warehouse models.

That works for sketchup, but not so much for Revit, rhino, archicad,... For those workflows the furniture has a lot of value (although as mentioned before here, the value would be even higher of we could overwrite the materials on them).

Hi Adrian. I design hospitals and render hospital equipment. If you are interested in my help or collaboration, please contact me by e-mail: transkred21@gmail.com

Hello Adrian and thanks for the effort but... this aproach is useles for 90% of our projects.
I would love to see an asset management tool which allows me to add and remove object from the current database, even import other file formats and also the ability to change the materials.
As someone else pointed out: "we don't use yellow sofas in our proposals"
It's great to have a starting database with minimal assets but in our projects I don't even open the library.

Thanks for your requests. Each of it will be evaluated.
Today I can already share another behind the scene image with you.
We are going to release more cars in 2.8 and I am really looking forward to see the some more renderings of them

Cars look amazing! I know this is a super specific request, but can we get a nyc yellow taxi cab?
-
-
And a lil wind mill from the small village Putten in Holland as well?
-
I am going to forward your request and see what we can do.
-
haha don't put it too high up the asset request list.
-
We uploaded 30 more people assets.
Since it's web-based the only thing you need to do is open the Asset Library again to see them all.

Hi Adrian, thanks for the great effort to you and the team.
I just have a small request regarding an asset that I use regularly. It's Sofa 15
Can you update it to be in one color as it is usually used. the 3 colors configuration is not logical and never used. A complete configuration in white or grey would be perfect.
thanks.
