    Dear Forum Community,

It’s time again, we want to hear your feedback!

With our Enscape Preview 2.8 we’ve implemented our new collaboration mode. If you haven’t tried it before, feel free to install the preview and give this feature a try yourself!

To anyone who has already been using that functionality, we would love to know the following: How are you using this feature, did it make your life easier and is there anything we can do to further improve it? Feel free to add anything else you want to mention as well to your feedback. ?

Thank you all very much in advance!

  • We have been trying to use Enscape as a final quality control review for our projects for a while, but we have found it somewhat cumbersome to take notes quickly and accurately in a way that makes it easy to distribute to the project team. We just started using this feature and are excited about its potential.

In the short time we have been using this, we have found that it would be useful to have the ability to export the issues as a PDF (with comments and screenshots) in a summary document (similar to other software that we use for field reports) for distribution within the design team. It would also be useful if the issues could sync across users in Revit without the requirement of paying for an additional plugin, like BIM Track. Currently, the only way we can find to distribute comments within Enscape/Revit is to export the issues as a BCF and import on a different computer.

Great feedback, thanks lighting_designer , my dear colleague Hana Rude which is our UI/UX specialist has been informed. :) Also, welcome to our forum and thanks again for sharing your thoughts.

There'll also be an additional survey soon regarding our collaboration mode, so stay tuned and feel free to participate as well!

  • Need to be able to customize filter in Enscape instead of only being able to show Open/In Progress or show all, because we have defined Status (state) in BIM Track as 1. Open, 2. In Progress, 3. Non-Concur, 4. Resolved (ready for review), 5. Reopened, 6. Closed. It would be good to be able to use Quick Filters defined in BIM Track.

Need to be able to markup rendering in Enscape, instead of having to use BIM Track in Revit or BIM Track Web Viewer to do so, or at least show the Pin in the rendered image.

  • Thanks for your feedback Ken and welcome to the forum!

Have you already participated in the usability survey of our new feature?

One of the last questions is: "Which function should be added?", where you can vote for "filter options" or "edit thumbnail".
