Assigning object materials to parent seems to work in rendered view but not in rhino enscape. Is there a workaround for this?
Not at the moment I'm afraid, this is not yet supported by Enscape. I have gladly forward this as a feature request though.

Ran into this issue today where "Object Parent" material was used to assign materials within blocks. Caused quite a bit of extra work when I found out the hard way that enscape doesn't support this. -

Forwarding your upvotes, of course, thank you. Right now, no ETA regarding when or if this will be implemented I'm afraid. But once the demand goes up, we can definitely think about implementing this accordingly.
