Epix 3D , looks rather white on my screen - are you sure you don't have any blue-light filter enabled? Also, feel free to go into the Image tab and reduce the warmth a bit by pulling the Color temperature slider to the left, that should then make it completely white.
You can additionally of course also activate the "Export Object-ID, Material-ID and Depth Channel" option in the Capture tab - let me know in case this doesn't help with your current procedure, and why so that I can also forward that as feedback. Also, you are referring to the feature of having an Alpha channel available in the exported .png files, correct?
-
dont do that, you can use white HDRI for better result

Alpha Channel in export would be Nice.

In Beta version (2.8.0-preview.9 +26107) the Visual settings menu > Atmosphere I hooked "White Background" but in the render background is not clear white but yellowish.? I wish Alpha was a choice..
Epix 3D, you are absolutely right. And it does not matter which colour shade someone sees on any screen, but only the actual measured values which always must have RGB 255, 255, 255!
Finally this necessary Enscape Setting option is called " White Background" but not "Somehow Whitish Background" !!! -
Alpha Channel in export would be Nice.
Forwarding your feedback once more in today's Dev meeting, thanks.

Yes I agree that white should be white and not effected by lighting/image settings.

hi Enscape Team, is there any news on this yet?

Not at the moment I'm afraid - this is currently not something which has a high priority on our agenda because it's also always possible to easily remove the background post-process in renderings and have it completely white. There are just too many factors playing into the equation at the moment as to why it's not completely "true" white - but alongside that, you can also always adjust the Color temperature in the image settings should you want either a warmer or cooler white.

In the early versions of enscape, alpha channel was among the options
It would be great to find back this feature

Turn on depth map in the capture settings and increase the range to its highest, when you render an image now you’ll get 4 images one of which will be the depth which you can use as an alpha mask in the likes of photoshop/Afinity Photo.
