Carpet - Really ?!

  • Is this seriously carpet. - Grass without the new animation.

    You could of at least made a cutpile or looppile bump/displacement map

    I know there might be the big group of shagpile carpet lovers out there. But this is not useful.

    Thank you for the feedback as well. Allow to at least remove this from the "Bug Reports", since this is rather a wish for a better system, which I'll gladly forward.

  • In addition, Carpet should have hard edges where the element stops and starts. The current system gets stray tufts of carpet outside the boundary. I also agree that the profile should match traditional carpet pile looks and maybe even use that nomenclature for the height parameter.
