I would love to see the ability to scrub in the video editor. This would be extremely helpful for longer camera paths.

Or the ability to preview from one frame to the next.
For example, If you have a long sequence with 10 or more frame it was be helpful to preview frames 8-10 then have to preview the entire sequence to see how the transition works.

Scrubbing is basically dragging the cursor across the playbar in order to either speed up, slow down or skip content.
I'd generally welcome any improvement for the video editor like play and pause, speed up/down, a skippable timeline, scrubbing etc, this would vastly improve the user experience in that regard.

You can hack the preview function by saving out your video path, creating a copy of it, editing the xml file, then loading in the new path with only the segment you want. a bit kludgy but it does work.
