  • Hey!

We've been working on a VR project to let our clients walk through all the spaces of our buildings, change the apartment finishes and other stuff..

And to make it more user-friendly, we made some recordings regarding the apartment sizes, rooms and other areas of the building, as well as instructions at the beginning of the experience.

I know this is something very specific, but it would be nice to have some sort of trigger option to the sound effects (maybe a button, or an option to make the sound start only when the user reaches a certain distance).

What we've been doing is adding a 10~15 seconds of silence to the recording. But the problem is the loop gets annoying and the users almost always start listening to the record in the middle of the speech.

Thanks a lot comcasa , we're always open to any feedback even if it's very specific of course! :) I've gladly forwarded your inquiry as a feature request for our developers to see. Thanks again and let me know in case you want to add anything else to your inquiry.

    JDSD_Arch_01 , sure, forwarded thanks!

  • Another suggestion would be to make an option so that the sound effects are played within the room it was placed instead of on a certain radius.

This would be a great addition to VR experiences when changing rooms. Since rooms on Revit have user determined heights, the sounds would not overlap when changing from one floor to another (because as it is now, it works on a spherical format)

    Forwarded as well, thanks!
