This is a major oversight. It's really important that we are able to open older standalone files so we can showcase what we've done previously. It's not always possible to re-export from the source models. I'm guessing this isn't something which can be easily fixed if the newer C++ package is needed for 2.7 to run, so for now we'll need to make sure we have a machine which doesn't have the latest version of Enscape installed. Not ideal!

It's possible to use dynamo to model a subsample of a linked point cloud in Revit, creating and assigning materials to the points based on their RGB values. It's very processor heavy and takes a while but the results can be pretty cool...(turn off auto exposure)

Hi Demian,
The windows update seems to have done the trick!
Thanks,

Try Navis to FBX to DXF to Revit to Enscape.

I'm now getting this problem having rebuilt my machine. Is it possible an update to steam/steam VR/windows MR drivers could have an affect? Before the rebuild everything was working fine using enscape 2.4, but since the rebuild I'm not seeing WMR controllers when using either 2.4 or 2.6 so the only thing that's changed is that I now have up to date versions of all my other drivers.

It looks like enabling motion & orientation has no effect unless the site you're viewing is seen by the browser as being secure.
If you add "https://" to the start of older panoramas (and change the motion & orientation setting) they'll work.

Hi,
I'm testing the web standalone export in 2.4 (Build number 2.4.18304.1341). Having attempted to export a huge model, and discovering the maximum recommended upload size limit of 500Mb, I've reduced the complexity of the model (in this case, removing all the furniture & equipment) and re-exported without any file-size warnings appearing.
However, once the progress bar has reached the end, chrome displays an "Aw, Snap!" error. Here's the model - https://api2.enscape3d.com/v1/…a8-400d-b509-58458c47cba8
I've had no problems so far with smaller models.
Thanks,
Alex

Hi Jonathan. I've already done that.

Hi, I'm testing Enscape 2.2.1 with an HP Windows Mixed Reality Headset (model vr1000-100nn), and although I'm able to view the model without any problems when the controllers aren't switched on, as soon as I do the model disappears. More accurately, the model is only visible if elements are within a very short distance from the point of view.
I've recorded a screencast to show the issue - https://knowledge.autodesk.com…3d-472b-862f-820c4b1fa6a3
Has anyone else had the same problem?
Enscape is still working without problems on the same machine with an HTC Vive.
