I am working on a self enclosed vestibule with no windows for natural daylight to light the space. See attachment rendering.
The attached rendering has just materials, and no lights yet. For the lighting I will have down lights on the center and perimeter cove lighting.
One of the problems I am encountering at first glance is the cove as shown right now with no light fixture yet, seems to be glowing with light, and the entire scene changes the lighting mood as I move the lighting at different time of the days.
Can somebody share techniques how to tackle this problem.
Do I need to disable the sun?
How can I achieve a more realistic cove lighting and lighting mood for a self enclosed vestibule.
I have mostly used enscape for exteriors. I am experimenting with some interiors, and I have a cove area for a light. Without the light the area is very bright, which in real life supposed to be dark before I place the light. Any way to adjust this?
using version 2.2.18113.742
I tried the latest version and still the problem persists, also didn't like the fact any glass material is now super reflective.
See pictures attached, adding a simple plane on the ground starts to create this effect. The materials are non metallic and have no gloss. Basic shade, it should not be reflecting any weird light or highlights.
Does anybody knows why enscape is doing this? Whenever I have two surfaces or solids intersecting light filters at those intersections. I tried doing this with my entire model, all geometry on with, road, streets and I get those weird light effects whenever the sun hits anything that projects or pushes in. I removed the entire geometry and only left the areas where i am working and works fine.
the strangest thing, this only happens with amd gpu cards (apple). My laptop running nvidia quaddro works perfectly fine with all the windows updates.
took me so long to figure this out.
I discovered the problem
I have two imacs running boot camp one a regular imac and one imac pro and both kept crashing after some WINDOWS UPDATE package were installed.
I had to do a clean install of bootcamp windows 10 for both computers and now everything is working back to normal. Wish I can help you which update was.
hope it helps for anyone having problems.
I am having problems with a an interior view.
See pics and text associated for the problem.
Image 05x(2), image looks find rendered at 4k.
Image 5xx(2 same view now with sun at 30 percent intensity and I get this weird banding on the ceiling, right side.
Image 06(2)) same view is rendered at 8k and I get the ceiling half light left and other half dark right. Same settings except the 8k
I am having enscape crashing or freezing with rhino5.0 or 6.0.
I will have enscape running on the background making edits on my rhino model, changing materials or tweaking them then rhino and enscape crashes together.
I will restart my rhino 3d model and then click the render enscape icon, the render window will pop, but afterwards nothing will happen and enscape will freeze. I will try to force close it, which it will close rhino at the same time.
I am running this problem with the new Imac pro on windows 10 boot camp.
It was working fine when I bootcamped at the beginning, not sure if the latest update of enscape or rhino are causing enscape to be unstable.
is anybody having problems with rhino crashing with enscape.
when I click enscape the window pops but it just freezes, then the whole computer freezes.
It happens on both imacs at my office running windows 10 boot camp. It might be a problem with the amd drivers, one is a regular imac and other one the imac pro?
I don't have problems with my laptop has nvidia gpu.
