Thanks Demian Gutberlet , understood, I guess the surprising thing is that it doesn't happen on my asset, but it has less transparency i guess.

The green wall video is with my own asset (has a png for transparency too), the dark grey background is with Enscape asset, it's creating this weird halo around the leafs, probably a transparency problem.
I would also like a much more detailed plant, I can understand for a tree, but those are general interior plants and are very close to the camera, it would be nice not to see a slightly higher res meshed lod.
Many thanks

Hello,
+ 1 again on saving all textures/materials in one folder, asked in March, saw some other people doing the same, this is sort of primordial.
Vray has it..
Thanks

We urgently need a folder path selector and a pack all textures function.
Collect all textures to one folder and control where this folder is.
Thanks guys

Hello,
any news on that? it has been a very long time, just need a folder path selector and a pack all textures function
I have 2.2gb of file here, hundreds of materials.. we need a solution.
Thanks guys

Thanks Demian Gutberlet and Rick Marx , but this is not really acceptable, I am hoping to be polite, but that's sort of ridiculous to use many lights in a row to create one light. It's been months if not years that we are loosing our time here, real time but not so much because we array dozen of lights... what the hell guys? some of us are part of the customer advisory board, we have been part of Envision and we are really asking a very simple thing here, if it's Mcneels causing problems, at least we go complain there, otherwise Enscape has to find a solution, create your on lighting with IES etc.. it would be very hard to read another " will submit your feedback to the Dev" if Rhino3d is supported, it needs to works like the others.
Thanks

Any update on that? thanks

Hi,
I am working with a file on a ssd from desktop to other desktop and it's the second desktop where the rectangular lights that were in the project already just don't work, there are there, if you create a new one, you can see the reflection of it but not the light wash or the effect on the object, very odd, the linear light on the other end works.
Rhino (7.11.21285.13001..
Enscape 3.1.2 +555
Complaining again, but the lighting in Rhino is terrible, you guys need to do something with Mcneel or propose your own lighting... it's very inconsistent and unusable if you change machines
Thanks

either way Pieter , preloaded thumbnails ( which sounds great) or any other better options, they are small mainly white images, it should load instantly, even with a bad internet.
-
Yep just loading Thumbnails first, model second will resolve this, the more assets the more problematic it will become
+1, just load the thumbnail img please..
-
now worries, thanks Rick Marx for the reply, this seems like a massive problem
for a renderer
Could we have a set of rules, like maximum length is xxx millimeters?
Anyway if Rhino3d continue to be supported in the future, this problem should be on top of the priority list
Really need a solution
Thanks

Gygabite AERO 15 OLED (or not) YD - 3080 has very good thermal, but agreed with earlier comment, take a thicker (cheaper) laptop, no point having 15mm of a beautiful hot mess ( like Razer)

Any luck here ? Demian Gutberlet thanks

Hi,
very simple request, but would it be possible to load the thumbnails images first before loading the geometry? I know we can download the whole library, but it would just save a lot of time to see the thumbnails first then click and choose to download the 3d model, otherwise slow internet connection kills the process to choose assets.
Thanks

+1
It's possible to have many clipping planes in rhino at the same time, so it wouldn't seem to be a Rhino limitation -
Hi, I finally got time to test the first set of problem for Rhino 6,7 and lighting:
the length of the lights (rectangular or linear isn't showing entirely in the render. (all default settings) see images attached
We really need a resolution for this basic problem which has been present this the beginning.
The cherry on the cake would also to add a switchable visibility to the light
Many thanks

I was going to create a post... yes this is really a pain in Rhino 6 or 7, besides the intensity problem, there is another major one : the light's dimension aren't producing entirely light, so we have to overlay lights to create for example the whole length of the space. Massive pain to array 20 lights to cover one length.. and that's even before adjusting the lighting fall off and the lack of ies
I think as a general idea, the whole rhino lighting isn't working well for enscape, I think sketchup and the rest of the software have it sorted it out and it works well. What would be good is to know if the devs at Enscape encounters the same lighting problem with Rhino? Demian Gutberlet ? thanks
