Ok done!
For reference, we have a client who has 300+ buildings where we are automatically creating optimized FBXs file of their Revit buildings on a daily/weekly basis.
Would be a neat synergy if these could be opened in Enscape for analysis.

Otherwise, go vote on the Volumetric Light Ideas in the Feedback area:

If you want realistic beamlights, just use the IES files and lumen values from real theatre/entertainment beamlight manufacturers:
I'd like to convert some FBX exports into Enscape experiences. Is this possible or does it have to go through a software plugin like Revit?
My recommendation is to ditch the laptops and build a fully capable desktop using a Dan case or other small case.
The Dan case is smaller than a Razer Core V2 or Core X and it can hold a full size graphic card (RTX 2080, etc)
https://www.dan-cases.com/dana4.php
You can then pair this with a USB C external screen, compac keyboard/mouse combo and travel with not technical limitations to your Enscape or VR needs.
The T1 case is even more interesting that the Dan case, but it is not fully available yet:
Hi Demian,
We have a plugin that can optimize the geometry of super complex Revit files and make 3ds Max files out of them. We think this would be a perfect candidate to integrate into an Enscape workflow (Revit > VIM > 3ds Max > Enscape). Having a 3ds Max plugin for Enscape would solve this.
This plugin workflow would allow customers to take their largest projects and see them as live renderings and in VR extremely quickly without the traditional performance problems associated with large complex 3d models.
+1 for 3ds Max
Also, is there not an official way to vote for this feature? I had to search the forums and this does not look very official. Thanks!
Sorry if I sound annoyed, this is just a continuous every day problem with a simple solution that has not been implemented in years.
"Enable Live Revit Camera" seems to be what I am looking for, I will test once there is an available license. Thank you!
Demian Gutberlet I do have access to that interface, but that is an admin interface. We do not want to give our users access to the interface that gives them the code and the ability to order more licenses or mess with credit card information. We also do not want to have a universal password shared for the whole office.
It`s not reasonable to expect that we will share the access to a admin login so that users can verify who is using the licence. When you open Enscape and it tells you the license is being used, that is where it should tell you who is using it. Either that or create another login type that is only used to check this information, but I think that would be a pretty terrible UX decision.
snowyweston We have 250 employees. I`ve worked in an office where people send mass emails every time they need the Enscape license and it is annoying to most and pretty pathetic.
The bottom line is we have known the solution to this problem for years: Just tell us who is using the license in Enscape directly.
The only reason I can think of not doing this is to frustrate users into buying more licences. Either that or just bad UX understanding.
Is it just me or does Enscape not move the camera when I move the camera in Revit? It only seems to update when I close and open Enscape.
If that is the case, please fix it. I need to set a permanent view in Revit, not in Enscape.
Oculus Go is the good version of Cardboard/GearVR and perfect for 360 images.
Oculus Quest is the fancy version that does some 3D and is spatial, so a bit overkill for just 360 images, but then you can also use a software like IrisVR on it, which you cannot do on the Oculus Go.
Cardboard is so uncomfortable physically and optically that it poisons the VR well and should be avoided at all cost.

My recommendation for most Enscape 360 users is to get an Oculus Go and use Yulio.com to present the images. If you want to get all fancy and do real 3D on IrisVR as well, then get the Oculus Quest.
Also, the Quest will soon have a wire that makes it into a full VR headset for desktop. Very versatile!
https://www.roadtovr.com/oculu…-s-questionable-purchase/
There are also intentions to make it a wireless headset in the long term.
I`ve not changed any amount of lights or modified the scene. Same problems on two different computers, but the scene is large.
I reverted to the old version for now.
Gadget Technically it says 'Render panorama for Cardboard' and there is a logo on Google Cardboard on the button, so I do feel it is misleading.
When rendering, it just stays black
Sean Farrell Have you guys considered using baked lighting for mobile VR? Of course you could not change the time of day, but I feel like this is a missed opportunity for Enscape.
For architects, the ability to bring multiple headsets to a client`s office is quite valuable.
Interesting Gadget, I did not know that's where Google took it from. I would jsut step away from the word Cardboard, because few people in the industry know this refference.
Also, Cubemaps are much better quality for 3D 360 images.
Demian Gutberlet I would like to batch render stereoscopic images (Cardboard Panorama). I don't believe it is possible to do this in batch?
Also, the name Cardboard panorama is unclear. It is a stereoscopic image.
Had plenty of problems with the licenses last week. Perhaps if I post in here every time it causes a problem, it ill show Enscape the need for this?
Users are running around to see who is the person using the license.
