VR Oculus Rift with exported standalone Enscape model.
When using the teleportation feature, the teleport does not work when aiming at the ground. Only wall, ceilings, & objects work for the teleportation.
Is this a issue with Enscape, or the Oculus? I've re-established the room boundaries and calibrated the floor multiple times.
Also, teleportation seems to go through windows/ glass. Is this intended? I'll frequently have clients accidentally teleport out of a building due to a window on the other side.
Thanks in advance,
Quite often my team and I will work on interior renderings/walk-through models and perfect them - with settings included. (Background, rotation, lighting, FOV, etc...)
But, if we open the same file on another computer (which we use for client presentations), all of the settings are reverted back to default.
It would seem that these settings save locally somehow, but I was wondering if there is a way to transfer these between computers/users?
- Many thanks,
Why does the tinted glass not cast a 'shadow' or diffused light on the wall the light stops on?
Is there a way to fix this?
@Demian ,you probably know this from the data sent. But is it possible that its a driver issue? I am running ForceWare version: 416.34 on GeForce GT X 1070 (MSI) 46 °C Latest as far as i know.
I'm curious if Proxy's worked for A.bere , Hope it worked.
Proxys actually did work for me! I cut out a third of my model, and proxied it in. Had no more issues after I did that.
Could you please send us your logfules via the feedback button? Ideally, you could send us the problematic project which would help us reproduce it. Thank you!
Feedback sent. What is the best way to get the model to you?
Same issue - file is 163 mb
It opens in the previous version still.
Does anyone else have trouble opening enscape with the new 2.4 update?
I have a very large file (163 mb) for a neighborhood flyby render.
Of 6 computers tested, the 3 with the new update will not load the Enscape window, and the 3 in the previous version load it in a few seconds.
I'm think I might have to proxy everything in the model, but i'd rather not have to switch between files to edit everything.
Watching a time lapse video with several contrails in it, it appears as though they are going in reverse. Can this be fixed?
I've noticed that in reflections, often many object are missing, especially the further away they are. I'm doing building renders and missing the trees reflecting in the glazing is a problem for me.
I'm wondering if there is any way to change this 'setting' of dropping objects reflections?
when you create the view, re-name it in the SU scene tray and un-tic all the boxes except for the camera position (and shadows if you want to keep the time of day). Do this before actually using/selecting the scene in SU.
Seems like a hassle to always have to do that when creating a scene. Surely it'd be smoother if you didn't have to.
When I use the Create View button, it creates a scene in Sketchup to match. However, if I choose that scene in Sketchup it changes my current style to another. Is there a way to have the new views just assume your current Sketchup style?
