I'm going to reply to this thread, because after downloading the newest version, I am still having issues, though different ones. Please see my new thread which I am posting entitled "Strange background graphics"

Thanks! I don't know if this is related, but clicking on any of the links in the marketing e-mail sent out this morning also resulted in a continually spinning icon and they wouldn't load.

Can you please give some status on this issue?
I'm about to teach Enscape and have 50 computers in our college's computer lab right now that won't run due to the current issue. Replacing the current version with an older version and then replacing again with the new bug-free version is a huge tech problem. I (and I"m sure many other users) would appreciate an update.

I have just downloaded the last 4 versions of Enscape, and none of of them are loading. Is anyone there from Enscape to advise? I realize you are in a different timezone, but really frustrating that you don't have technical help available at hours for all your customers on the other side of the globe.

What is the workaround for now? Can I revert back to an earlier version? Can't seem to find that on your website.

Tried a third time (this time with a different, very small model and got this error message (see attachment)
-
Just tried to close and relaunch again, and now Enscape won't even launch.
Double help!

I downloaded the most recent version and am trying it for the first time now (for a project that is due today!) When I launch the program, I get the usual Enscape laoding screen (see screenshot) but it never completely loads...it just keeps spinning and this screen continues. I'm using SketchUp Pro 2019.
Is this a known issue? I'm on a deadline...can I remove this and go back to the last version.
I'd appreciate some quick help! By the way...I also found just connecting to your site and navigating through to be incredibly slow today..

Has this feature been added yet?

I'm working on some "atmospheric" shots of a baby nursery which means I would like long, evening light coming through the window. However, the client also wants a backdrop image of their view also in the scene, which blocks this light.
I know that some rendering programs let you identify certain geometry or materials to not cast a shadow. Is that possible in Enscape. Or if that's not possible, is there anyway to save the image as a transparent png to make it easier to drop in the backdrop image in post-processing?
Thanks! Diane

Still would appreciate a response from the Enscape team regarding this question. Thanks!

Love that dynamic tile! The author also has a dynamic sink component that I use all the time. I'll give it a shot and see if it helps. I agree the reflections also help, but often if I'm doing just a quick image I don't want to spend time adding entourage.

I'm having on-going issues with trying to recreate more subtle textures in white surfaces...for example, here in this white tile with white grout. In the past, I've noted this issue with White Shaker cabinets. As you can see in this image, I've tried to add some directional light to add shadow, which is kind of working around the hood, but not so well above the sink (besides creating lighting that isn't realistic to the actual space.) I know the usual suggestion is to add a thin line (and I appreciate that you're now able to add a line that's less than 1 pt) but I find that my interior design clients often object to this as it doesn't look "real". For example, in this image, adding a line makes the tile look like it has grey grout, instead of white. Any other suggestions?

Hello!
I've been using Enscape for awhile now and will be teaching it next quarter in the Interior Design program at Bellevue College. I'm working on creating the curriculum, and am really searching for some sort of documentation that systematically explains all of the Enscape settings in the dialogue box. I know bits and pieces are covered in your help, on blogs, in forums, etc. but it would be really helpful for my students (and all learners) to have 1 document with settings and descriptions in a chronological, complete order for reference. Does anything like that exist that I'm not finding?
Thanks!

I'm trying to recreate velvet and leather using some great info on an older thread.
However, I seem to be missing something crucial in this use and others. When I try to use a material (other than the albedo) for the bump (here a stucco), I can't seem to control the size of that bump material in its appearance on screen. I've tried resizing the material in Photoshop (here, for example, the texture is only 1" X 1") but the bump still is on a way different scale in the rendering. I'm attaching a few screen shots. I would so appreciate if someone could illuminate me.
Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, my client did choose this carpet so this is what I have to use. It also has to be the same scale as the material actually is. (just as an FYI...this is for a 6 million dollar project for Amazon, so can't question the designer's judgement
If what I'm hearing is correct, there's no way to accurately represent this material and not have the moire effect occur?
-
I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to get rid of this moire pattern in the carpet. The resolution of the render is Ultra HD already. Anything else I can tweak?
Thanks!
