would not really need displacement if they just replace the grass model with a gravel or random round object image

What about a gravel texture that works just like the grass version. You could do a simple object that just like the grass version (but gravel) and then we could have texture on the ground. thought? This would ad realism to a lot of scenes.

Id love to see an Exclude type material, one that doesnt turn white in white mode? possible?

i def would like to

realtime i would always go gaming, GTX 1070, 1080ti. best you can afford. I run a 980ti on one machine and a 1070 on another, both work great

yea probably would be that dark depending on how much light gets back there, add a little reflection to the walls. Everything in real world has some bit of reflection, this allows the light to bounce more. My bet if you add some reflection it will brighten up in the deep back.

Dont hold your breath, we have wanted for a decade to be able to use cards in sli, 3dsmax, Lumion etc will all benefit from sli but it never happens so my guess is its way too buggy and difficult to achieve. If the enscape team can pull that feat off as well then there engineering team all need raises. Also enscape still needs LOTS of features, my vote is dont waste engineering talent on sli attempts as alot of others have all tried and failed.

so was section planes and billboards. maybe it was just a bug fix release

doesnt look like the changelog changed on todays alpha build> whats changed / fixed?

add a reflection map/noise map into the reflection slot. i assume you are meaning the revit version. Revit also has native frosted glass in the material library

Keep up the good work Thomas, and all the enscape team. the software is amazing and like Towerpower said, we are spoiled. Enscapes development team is moving fast compared to other software out there. Im a corona, lumion, vray, and twinmotion licence holder i have spent lots of hard earned money over the years on these other software packages, each has there place but none are exciting as enscape in my opinion. Revit version is already amazing and few more tweaks on the sketchup version and it will be awesome. Look forward to future releases!

Messing around trying to get my workflow set for enscape and the lighting defiantly needs work. Hopefully the enscape team is coming up with better solutions for upcoming releases. See images below, the same light source is used its just the distance from it that changed and how much of the light is in view. Seems enscape only calculates light in view, this means i will always have to see my light....need a better solution then that.

havent tested yet but does the keywords ocean display different then water?

Found a little texture error, take a look at the picture below. Left is sketchup right is enscape. Enscape floor texture is squiggly

nice add, thank you

There are only certain situations that the reflections need to be accurate. I personally vote for speed, thats why we are all using enscape.
-
better question is where did you get those palm trees. Those are some of the better versions i have seen.

already really exists. Just save the settings to a file in the enscape properties tab at the top. Then when you need to just import it into your sketchup file. I have multi profiles already setup. This way you can also use on different projects.
Also it stores these settings in an xml file that is in the users\"username"\Documents\Inreal Technologies\enscape\settings folder on that machine. This file can be copied to other machines running enscape to move the settings to that machine. It even packs the skybox image if you are using one into that file.

my lights are on during the day, must be a light setting in revit not enscape
