Sketchup version comes with the revit version
-
would be nice to have the ability to use the 3d mouse in sketchup at same time as enscape. As it stands once you start enscape the mouse tracks in enscape. this make navigation in sketchup difficult. If you sync the cameras the mouse still only works in enscape and that doesnt not translate to sketchup. Should be if you sync cameras the mouse is locked to sketchup as you wont need it to track in enscape. Kinda need a reverse of the current setup.

i agree and have said before, must have the bump and specular. Revit version works great with these controls and the materials are PBR

Movie capture in sketchup does not seem to work for me. Starts, asks for file name then seems to render on frame then stop. any ideas?
Clarification, works but not with resolution past "web", blueray and ultra are no go if we using 4k. I guess i can work around that.

That is how i understand as well. We have one seat in our office at the moment (will be adding more) and if someone else is using the software you get a warning and images are water marked. As soon as the open seat is available the water marks go away. Works good and is very helpfull for me to see and judge how many seats we actually need based on usage.

GREAT JOB!!!! works perfect...great update
There is a slight bug in the face me shadows, acts like there is a component in front of the object

good question i was wondering the same thing the other day.....so many point we get free subscription
-
thats great news....looking forward to using them
-
I second that request
-
I have tried this, and as far as i know not yet
-
forgot about that posts, yes that should handle it in revit, just need a solution for sketchup as well
-
Jonathan, yes thats perfect thats what i would prefer, grass material retains color in white mode, this can make for dramatic effects. Only other request would be the ability to have a material of choice also retain color so we could set the white model in context like a white model on a google map etc.
-
hmmm see thats weird, my grass is green in white mode.
-
The new grass works great, from a quick rendering to test it i would say PLEASE do not change its effect in white mode. I think we can make some very dramatic images with the grass staying green and the rest of the model white. In fact it would be great if we could set the materials maybe with keyword that do not change to white that way we can set model in context, like google maps etc.

take a look at the image below, RCP has bad reflection shows as blocks? This is from the latest alpha.
-
Its all about using the correct material maps, ie bumps, diffuse maps and reflection maps. If you put them in the correct spots you can achieve phot real results. I was going to put a tutorial together. If others are interested let me know and ill make one up.

I agree and have the same issue. seems there is some sort of reflection depth. I was doing an interior scene with a bathroom mirror and items with 2+ feet of the mirror are reflected correctly but further it blurs and then starts to reflect the outside environment. Im sure since we are in alpha we will see these issues. I do not seem them a prominent in the revit enscape. See attached weird reflection issues.

Jorgensen For fabric i would not include any name, it would be just the sketchup texture unless it was a leather, then i would add plastic. Like attached!
