Hi enscape team,
I would be nice if you can give the freedom as in Sketchup.
When I open material editor in Archicad, I cannot work inside Archicad unless I have to close the panel. In Sketchup, this is not a problem. But in Archicad, it is quite inconvenient to close and open material editor constantly.
Thanks

It would be nice if there are functions that we can scale, rotate or move HDRI environment. They should have.

Hi guys,
I think this request or issue has been discussing for a long time and probably Enscape is working on it. But I just want to share with you again.
In this project, I am trying to achieve the material called: Soltis Horizon 86. As you can see in the attached files, one is rendered with father distance and other is at closed up position. The closed up one is much better and realistic whereas the farther one is not showing the actual intention.
I hope that Enscape should have the higher setting in which we can choose for further rendering.
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks

same thing happens to me with material textures.
I think that there is some issue/ bug with version 2.6.
Before it did not happen to me.

WOW
So we have to accept the crazy file size then. It costs a lot of storage capacity.
Thanks

Hi guys,
I think we have an issue with exporting render from Enscape.
We have to set the resolution of the image really to archive better effect or quality for images although export setting is already Ultra Quality.
I normally have to put resolution from 4K to above in order to have good materialization. As a consequence, the file size is really high (above 15Mb each).
If we do small export like 1000x1000 for testing, image quality is showing less the material's characteristic.
Are you guys having the same concern? or Do we have another way to export small file size but still have good quality of materials?
Thanks

Enscape should improve lighting placement.

Hi,
I think you can first select the proxy object in your model. Then open Enscape Objects panel. If you drag you pointer to the object name in the panel, it will show you the path (don't click to anything).
I hope this could help.
-
That is true.
Enscape should work on perfomance of color/materials on distance camera.
The appearance of materials is way different when the camera close to the object and far away from the object.
Please fix this.

+1 for me

I think that it mainly depends on SU itself. Sketchup has to improve their integration with Archicad or Revit.
Or they must work with FBX like 3ds max is doing.
I am also struggling with working between Archicad and Sketchup and it exactly what you describe above.
-
Pardon, to which issue are you referring to exactly? Which steps did you take and what was your expected outcome? I've not been able to reproduce any problems regarding this subject
As the thread mentioned, the sun position is not correct with Enscape latest preview version. Even the sketchup already has Solar North extension. The previous Enscape version understands the sun position changed with Solar North, but with latest preview version, Enscape only understands real north position from Sketchup.
I hope you get what I mean.

I not working with the newest preview version eventhough i already have Solar North extension. Then I have to reinstall 2.5.3 version. Could you please check this issue with the newest preview version Demian Gutberlet ?
Thanks

that would be the best. Normally, I put all the proxy on my google drive (with exact same path between 2 pcs). So everything I do in the office, I can have it at home too.

Hi Kaj,
thank for your thoughts but I don't have any issue with other objects except the IES.
This is really strange behavious. I have no idea how and when it gonna happen.
Sometimes it happens with one IES object next time it happens to other objects and each time I have to move the IES back to its position.
-
Nope!
Everything was there already. The only thing I did is adjust the intensity of IES itself.
