Can we hide the "UI ears" and go "full-screen" for a full immersive experience? (right now it's like windowed mode only)

When using Enscape in exhibitions and client engagements. Sometimes for aesthetic concerns, I don't want to show any UI element and windows bar.

Is is possible to hide them through hotkeys or options? Thanks.

Hi, I encounter another one that failed to open, and managed to get a log with more info.

I paste here for ref, I also sent an email to support team.

Eric Hsu Sorry to hear that. The problem with exported standalone applications can be that issues with new driver, which we fixed in the proper application are still present in the standalone, since it is effectively a canned Enscape from the time it was created.

Nevertheless, can you send the last log files from the machine where it did not work. To do that open the file exporter and go to %APPDATA%\Enscape\Data\Logs copy the latest .log and .dmp files. (There may not be any .bmp, which is a good thing.) Zip the files and send them to support@enscape3d.com and reference this forum thread. We will have a look at them and see if we can do something.

Thanks, I will send a mail,
I also paste the log here for reference, since it is quite short

I had a EXE exported in January this year.

it can run on one PC but cannot run on another PC..

The EXE will close shortly by itself after open.

however it can open recently exported EXE.

It is the PC spec that Dose not run Enscape EXE :

    Product :Alienware Aurora R8

    OS : win 10 pro 64 bit

    CPU : i7-9700K

    mem : 32G

    graphic card : NVIDIA RTX 2080 8G

    driver : 431.60 (updated today)

it is the PC spec that runs the old EXE:

    Product : DELL laptop

    OS : win 10 pro 64 bit

    CPU : i7-6820HQ

    mem : 32G

    graphic card : NVIDIA M4000M

    driver : 418.81

    Very odd!

we export our projects in EXE as archives, so we tend not to re-export EXE tho it might solve the problem.

I believe there is a workaround

if this issue persist it will cause some trouble :(

please help me to resolve it!

    Thanks!

do you mean to have the circle always visible? so user can see more clearly of where they are teleporting?

I feel some of my client had problem with it, too. Took them some try to get familiar with it especially for people who had no VR experience before.

but I think it is acceptable

Please don't implement this feature... tho we need it badly

because it will make Enscape become the best VR design review app and kill other apps... like IrisVR, InsiteVR, Revit Live, VRcollab, Revizto, etc

those company employees have families to raise! have some mercy! leave an "Escape" for them!

I have recently noticed all my models appear a bit like I am underwater at times. Its not something I noticed until the last few months. Could be a hardware issue on my end but it is strange and I have not figured it out yet.

It might be a driver issue.
with recent NVIDIA drivers, performance of enscape is terrible,

objects jiggles like waving when adjusting time.

try revert to 2018/oct version, it works for me.

Few weeks ago STEAM forced user to install the new NVIDIA driver otherwise steamVR won't launch.

After the driver update, the performance of Enscape VR was awful ||

higher delay in movement and screen jiggles when adjusting time.

I was running Enscape on GTX 1080ti, before it was running smooth on high quality, now it can barely run medium quality.

and I cannot revert the driver version! My system just not letting me do it, said "no 7z archive" when I uninstall newer driver and install an older driver.

Does anyone experience the same issue? ?(?(?(

agree, if it is possible to create wave on non-planar or vertiacal surface would be great,

and I also wish grass can grow depends on surface normal not wold z axis, so we can make a bush from bush box in one click,

(a bush box is what represent a bush in landscape conceptual modelling, it defines bush height and boarder)

A little advice to people assets

    currently there are:

    0 sitting male,

    only 1 kid,

    only 1 asian,

0 walking female ( in obvious walking pose)

Kids are very important in public space, they can make a space looks lively and young.
please add more kids (and no pajamas)

"Darion" who were added currently , is a good one,

He looks like in between eastern and western, the skin color is between dark and white. His dress is versatile.

so I can put him in any project.

People like "Karen" and "Stephan" are bad, I mean less versatility, they are either dress too fancy or too casual.

GIF support would be wonderful, since Enscape does not support animated object , animated texture can be a good substitute.
I was working several projects that contain water features, like fountains and falls. They look fake when being still.

I also tried a demo of another software that start with T end with N. It supports animated fountain, and it looks much better in standalone.

    Hi everyone,

My team had an idea about audio

    - Let audio pause playing when user is out of range(volume zero), and continue playing from where it paused when in range.

    OR

    - Reset audio playing every time when out of range, always start playing from beginning.

unlike current behavior - Audio is muted when out of range, but still "playing", so you can't expect where to begin with.

By changing the behavior to what I mentioned above, we can add narration to a scene,

so user can listen to narration when entering a scene. We can make a story line that guide user through a design.

I came up this idea because our company are promoting VR design review.

we are planing to demo Enscape to branches and customers,

we think the best way is to make an standalone that user can experience and interact with it.

but interactivity that Enscpape can offer is limited currently, an alternative is to make description boards in model so user can read and learn,

but it feels tedious to read so many text.

I think it's a good idea to let narrative possible, what do you think?

    Cheers,
