I feel like the general rendering quality has been slowly improved so much that the grass looks bad now because it's rendered too perfectly and the imperfections are more visible. But I do feel that I used to be happier with the grass rendering. I feel like it could be due for an upgrade.

I am also having this problem and it is very aggrivating.
