Hi, I was just wondering if it is possible to view an Enscape video or .exe file on an ipad
-
is this just an ok solution, if I was to go up to the 1080 or 1080ti would that make a difference?
Ultimately we would like to venture into VR

Again thanks for your input, we are now looking at an ASUS ROG Strix GL50VS
16 GB Ram DDR4
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 - 8GB GDDR5
This is from the web site above [ I note there is no affiliation with this site ], would I be correct is assuming this would be capable of running the stand alone viewer files?

Hi Clemens Musterle thanks for your input, I will try and source a package from it, once again thanks.

Hi Jonathan Knoefel no we don't have an exclusive deal with HP, it's just generally what our IT providers supply.
I have another configuration that they have proposed.
Dell XPS 15, i7 [7th gen] 16 GB DDR4, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 - 4 GB GDDR5,
What do you think?
-
Hi Jonathan Knoefel do you think the NVIDIA Quadro M2220 - 4GB GDDR5 will be good enough for my requirements.
HP are saying they only equip their mobile workstations with Nvidia Quadro or AMD FirePro mobile cards
-
Thanks Jonathan,
Much appreciated

Hi Jonathan,
am planning a new laptop to run the walk through's
i7 [7th gen]
16gb ddr4
NVIDIA Quadro M2220 - 4GB GDDR5
Do you think this spec ok to run the standalone exe files
-
Hi Jonathan,
Files Attached
-
Tried reducing the resolution, wouldn't work on the older PC and just displayed the Splash Screen on the newer laptop
-
I think one important point is being missed here. If you put aside the problems users are encountering for a moment and think about what you are intending to do with your walk through.
If you are to issue it to a client to allow them to navigate it at their leisure do you have to issue a caveat requiring them to check the specification of their hardware to run the file.
Clients don't want, I have found the results for version 2.0 to be pretty good, it's getting it to the client is the difficult part.

Hi Jonathan, we'll give that a try

Just a quick question,
We purchased a copy of Enscape on Friday and exported a walkthrough which refuses to play on a the two PC's we selected to test it on before issuing to the client.
Nvidia Quardo K600/PCIe/SSE2, Windows 7, OpenGL 4.4, this particular machine is a couple of years old now but the reason we selected it was to ensure the client had a good chance of being able to view the file.
The message we keep getting is EnscapeClient.exe has stopped working.
Any advice would be appreciated, our backs are against the wall on this one
