Hi,
I need to install Enscape in my home PC to work from home. Its a fixed seat license. Is the license key one and same as the one I'm using in office? I've save it in Notepad. I could just copy/paste it on whichever PC I use? (as long as I deactivate the one from the machine I wont be using) . Or I need to obtain a new license key everytime I transfer to a different machine?

Happens alot to me too. Im on Sketchup. I save two or three of views with the same sun position as a spare instead of writing them down. But yeah, so annoying.

Did you by chance import a jpeg image to be used as material? This happened to me before, I downloaded a jpg texture from the web to be used as material and for no reason, I started getting repeating bugsplats. I cleaned and purged the file, turned off layers but to no avail. I then deleted that one jpg texture and it solved my crashes.

Also, these predefined materials' thumbnails look almost identical. At first I thought I was looking at a bug. The red overlay also makes it impossible to see what the material modifications look like. You need to apply every time you make a change, evaluate, reselect the asset, click on 'edit asset' again and make another modification. Ugh.
Yeah. Maybe get rid of the red shade overlay and just keep the red outline to identify a selection. We need to see a preview clearly before we do an "apply changes" function. Get rid of the trial and error step. -
Hi. We're using Sketchup with Enscape. We produced several master plan perspective views for a client and they are happy. Now they asked for the Sketchup file to be used by other consultants. We informed and showed them that the file contains Enscape assets (trees, cars, people, site furniture) that don't translate well in Sketchup i.e. the assets will appear as white 3D objects with no texture. They asked us to replace them with generic Sketchup assets. Its a huge master plan that has hundreds of trees, people and cars, etc. Needless to say, replacing them with SU trees, etc would take a lot of work.
Is there a way to have Enscape assets show their textures? Doesn't have to be highly detailed. Even just flat colors will do (green for leaves, brown for tree trunks..) Bushes needs to be readable as bushes/shrub planting, not white blobs.
Or is there a automated way to replace Enscape assets with SU assets and quickly update the whole model? Thanks! -
There was no option to explode the image. I just replaced it with a different one and the new image didn't have any problems.

Hi,
Im doing a masterplan and inserted dozens of palm trees (Enscape asset) on a site. Now I need to resize the height according to a revision. When I resize one Ensacpe tree in Sketchup all the trees follow automatically (being a component). But in the Enscape viewport, the rendered image still show the original tree size. Is there a way to fix this ? Im trying to avoid reinserting all trees all over again. Thanks.
