thanks, so even objects that wouldn't reflect in the view, maybe 100' away or in a different room in the project, these would be rendered as well?

I've worked with other render programs that render the entire model, regardless if it is in the camera or not. Does enscape do this? Also, does enscape render light sources that are outside the camera or scene?
I'm looking for ways to optimize the model for rendering and seeing if I need to go down the road of isolating everything.
Thanks!

Do you mean the "Enscape Objects" lights? The ones that light up the scene but don't show in the render? I have changed the angle of the view a little and they show much better, as well as working with the Enscape Object lighting.

Hi,
See attached. In the green dashed box, you can see the black rectangles by the ceiling. These are fixtures I created with a material emitter on top, and different emitter material on bottom to try and mimic a typical office linear up/down fixture. These are all the same component. As you can see, the light is very bright on the left, and almost non-existent on the right.
What is the reason for this? Shouldn't they all be giving out the same light as they are the same emitter?
Thanks!

+ever how many upvotes needed to save settings per scene! even artificial light brightness!

It's all white. I've tried all the different backgrounds under the environment options. But it's all white. Note I did not create this model, just trying to render it.
What's the deal?

I'm working on a panel that has a reveal with a light strip in it. The light strip is a material set to self-illumination.
In the live preview screen, the light bleeds through the box.
In the render it doesn't bleed through.
I've attached an image and a screen grab.
Is this a setting I'm missing or a bug?

It's nice having the default folder for saving. But my work flow sometimes has me saving to a specific folder for a meeting or presentation, and it would be great to render once to that folder, then all others go there, until I change it back to default folder in settings.
Not a huge request, but sometimes its the little things that make life easier.

I agree it is confusing. Lights should place like any other asset or component. Click in scene to place, and then move/rotate/scale etc.

I have two screens and the window does minimize when placing an object. It would be nice if it stayed on screen, similar to the default sketchup pallettes.
