This would be a very useful addition to Enscape indeed!
This is generous!!! thank you Adam!
okay... jorgensen had posted this in another topic...
i had the same problem - deleted the enscape folder here
and the enscape.rb file here
restarted installed enscape again - and now it works.
I followed the same and voila! it works!!!
Thanks Jonathan & Jorgensen!!!
Visual C++ installed fine.
But, the .NET framework could not be installed due to a later update already installed on my computer. See attachment.
Looks like I am bad luck!!!!
thanks for the information jenujacob.
In this case please install the above mentioned packages.
Afterwards you should be able to use Enscape for SketchUp.
You got me
Thanks for the very quick reply!
However, i was going through the system requirements for the .NET Framework and Visual C++ and i found this .....
Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Vista Service Pack 2
I am using windows 10 x64 bit.... will it work??
Hi jenujacob the version 18.104.22.1683 should support SketchUp 2016.
Is Enscape listed in the extension manager?
Do you have other extensions installed and listed under the "Extensions" ribbon?
Maybe the Enscape toolbars are inactive in "View" -> "Toolbar".
How did you perform the installation of Enscape?
Is Enscape listed in the extension manager? - Did you mean under the Extensions tab in System preferences? If yes, then it is listed. See attachment 1.
Do you have other extensions installed and listed under the "Extensions" ribbon? - I think you are using REVIT terminology for Sketchup. Sketchup 2016 has the Extensions menu bar and that does not show Enscape in it. See attachment 2.
Maybe the Enscape toolbars are inactive in "View" -> "Toolbar". - There is no Enscape mentioned in the toolbar. See attachment 3.
How did you perform the installation of Enscape? - I installed it through the Extensions options in Preferences (see again attachment 1)
I am using Sketchup 2016 (16.1.1449 64-bit). I installed enscape (enscape-22.214.171.1243-g355786d). I can see that it has been installed in the system preferences. But, I cannot see the toolbars (even right clicking the menus dont show the enscape tools). Please advice.
P.s : I have also updated my graphics card to the latest drivers.
