Thanks guys. Yeah displacement Maos would be great.
I did how ever look at transmutr
Here I could make a model og cladding as a box. That saves some resources and time when working.

I am not sure if this is possible, but can I by example create a square in Sketchup and say that this surface is a wood cladding with shapes/3D and texture?
This would help a lot as the models becomes complex its hard to work in, and would be better if one could just have this when rendering. Right now I have drawn each cladding board and put them together. But drawing just a thick square would be much easier.
From my little experience with sketchup 2020
Slight side question, is Sketchup 2020 worth the upgrade? Any groundbreaking new features?
From my little experience with sketchup 2020 there isnt much new. But the tags and outliner works is great. It need some time to not use layers/tags as before and use outliner more. But it all really helps with the work flow of a project, so in overall I think its worth it. Though its not much new and I would expect more from an upgrade than this.
Looking forward to test enscape once its ready for sketchup 2020
Thanks i did start a trial but since I use sketchup 2020 I am unable to try. I hope to get a new trial once supported to test.
Im new to rendering, and have got a structure sensor that I will use to 3D scan rooms but also furnitures etc. And I am wondering if there is a way for me to create materials for use in enscape? Maybe enscape is not the right software, but maybe someone knows? I dont even know the proper word for this.
