Thank you Rick for confirming this and also providing a workaround - very much appreciated.

I have been searching the forum but managed to fine anything describing any potential issues being able to open legacy exe files created in previous enscape versions. At the moment i am seeing the following
sample exe files from the website run fine and i am pretty sure i still have the same hardware as i did when the files were originally created.
Any clues as to what could be causing the issue? or maybe this is a known issue?

Pete Chamberlain support email sent through with logs attached - hopefully this will give some clues as to what is going on. Thank you

resent a Feedback - hopefully it got through although i didn't see any acknowledgement message to say it did..

Hi Kaj, I did send one in yesterday but will try again shortly.. don’t know if it’s related but I also now get an error message when checking if any updates are available.. it does sound like something is being blocked somewhere but i am running this at home (so minimal firewall) and licensing works fine.. very strange..

Did you ever get this resolved? Facing the same issue here but not behind company firewall so I can’t see that being the issue - Was working a few weeks ago but now I consistently get these errors.. thank you

I don’t really know where to look for a local/mixed mode but will check that out tomorrow and see what I find..

Not using any custom assets - in fact I currently get that error when using the default demo arch project from Autodesk - no known Enscape content added at all, so I can only assume it’s unable to load some of the assets for grass / water etc.. that’s all I can think of..

We currently have a model which contains previously placed Enscape assets and at the moment they are not rendering correctly.. I guess it pulls the render/texture maps from the asset library ... or it would if it was able to connect.

exactly the same issue here - working fine last week, today no connection the asset library. Also getting a message about not being able to download render assets when launching Enscape - even using the default OTB Autodesk sample projects - i would assume this is related to the asset library not being available and i believe indicates its an issue on your end and not ours.
At the moment this is causing real issues for us.
Please note that no infrastructure has changed, no proxy server being used.

Which laptops have 12 or 16 GB of vram on a single video card?
Currently running a Dell Precision 7720 with Quadro P5000 with 16Gb vram - seems to be keeping up just fine but obviously not going to get the benefits of RTX Raytracing with this card.
