DPI is just simply math... so you don't ever really tell ENSCAPE to render at 300 dpi..
lol... perfect reply.

any NEWS with this "sHADow CAtcher" thanks.
ok will do.. (feedback)
yes i did multiple times hehehe.. then on my 4th RE-boot the pop-up window dissappeared.
got nasty surprised this morning.. .. after booting up.. windows.. straight to Sketch-up.. ---> opened a file ---> launched enscape.. ---> then tried to capture my shot.. then this happened.
no idea why it keeps popping out.. tho i havent opened any other program apart from sketchup, weird. (nothing running in the background]
We're working on reducing the noise for upcoming Enscape versions!
Thanks for sharing this beautiful
Thanks Thom' for having time to reply.. glad to know ENSCAPE acknowledges this issue... hoping for better versions in the future... coz to be frank...everyone likes ENSCAPE' just a little more push.. and will surpass other competions... This is the WAY gone are the days waiting for HOURS n HOURS just for the rendering plug-in to finish its rendering. those days are over.. ... (dont want to mention the name, lol )
I'd like to up vote the use outlines within Enscape for a hand rendered look. Revit cannot capture this look within the software.
this effect is available now.. 2.5 ver.. UP>
xrowdac , it's an older picture, the reflections in general have been improved quite a bit - I'll try to find a better example which is more up to date and edit the post accordingly.
HI demian is the "miniscule improvement" can be seen on your latest version, 2.7 ?
hi Helstern..seems u dont have any light-source to create the illusion of a SUN/Light Rays... all is bland blank.. cant see any light-source ....so if this is the case there's no way ..even in dreams for you to get what u want....
[click]
Heres a demo i did with enscape using default Settings.... nothing special...
compare this to ur scene.. i know ur scene is in daytime too..i see all those blue sky and cloud formation outside the window. lol. i guess u forgot to put a light-source to cast the Rays.
hi megabanc,, try to assign a DEFAULT MATERIAL to all object scene then chk.. if glow still there.. if not then re-assign ur desired materials accordingly.
now this is great explanation,, love the term "screen space reflection" ..this is definitely handy..
NB.
@demian, bro what about these parts, which are all present inside the scene. and yet got cut out/ wrongly projected onto the mirror, including the window frame offset got thicker,, plus the "headrest" turned empty too, is enscape doing something to resolve this issues.? so its really all objects that are behind the camera view will not be reflected properly.. i hope a fix gets formulated.
Thanks
Display MoreWelcome to our forum xrowdac , just be so very kind as to give us a touch of time after posting a problem / feature request or anything else before - we will answer in time so no worries about that.
Regarding the behavior you described, please kindly read through the following FAQ article here:
Why are some of my objects/parts of my project not displayed in reflections?
This should give you the information you need - summed up:
- Try to avoid these "second bounces" of reflections as real-time performance optimizations do not allow something like an "infinity mirror" (yet) as the most extreme example
- Try to have the objects you want to see reflected in true detail with all the materials in your view. This will make it easier to render since everything is already located in the so called "screen space".
In your second example you also have a billboard which is basically just a 2D object - I advise to use a dedicated 3D Model from our Asset Library for example (under "People") as this should also give you a better reflection output.
Many Thanks... appreciate the time u gave.. now all is well at least i wont go crazy tryin to figure it out.. Cheers..
thanks Thomas..any idea as to why and how to counter this effect?
Cheers.
sorry to ask here.. hi Damian any possiblity for my thread to get approve as well? (1st time) really dont know where to go for help.
Cheers..
To original poster.. Archive feature..would be great addition to enscape..prolly soon we do get this function.
The reflection im getting is really weird..on this particular image i have 2 opposite planes.. 1 being the "face mirror glass" 2. is the Glass panel both are reflective..
but i notice the reflection on the 1st bounce..( surrounding objects-non reflective) is quite ok... but as soon as it hits the 2nd Glass panel (also reflective) the reflection i get on that object has distortion and the objects that is being reflected lost its colors.. now its just plain..white as shown on my attachments. (Lift Lobby-Scene)
Nb. 2nd sample image is just a test also a Lift LOBBY but i added a GLASS MIRROR as u can see it is reflecting something but the reflection itself is distorted and has thickness into it..
Thank you Guys in advance.. appreciate if someone has experience this and found a fix..
Ciao
Francis.
