Hi DeKoetsier thanks for replying.
So did you place a sphere light inside the tube of the light to get this effect? This is definitely the effect I'm looking for. I found a workaround which was creating material (as per below) and then making it emissive. It's not perfect, but had a similar effect, but would like to use your technique as looks much better.

Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to create the effect seen in the attached photo of this lamp. I have a project coming up where I will need to create various lights with this effect, but yet to find a solution to get it. It also needs to be placed within an environment for product placement shots, so might change the solutions. Any ideas or thought would be amazing
It's the ability to make it look as natural as possible.

Hi Demian Gutberlet has there been any movement on this 2GB limit, I am having the same issue and Josh Radle is looking into the project for me and mention the 2GB limit, just wondered if there was anything else you could suggest. I plan to look at the textures but it's not a small job to do this for the project

Hi Demian Gutberlet , I sent you an email the other day so hopefully you can respond to that but through i would hit you up in here as well. I am having issues and not sure on what you would recommend as correct workflow. I have create material libraries over the past year whilst working from home. These were created on a portable hardrive so only worked with my computer. I have now transfered these to the server which is located in the offce so the other can access and use. We have gone through each material and relinked the maps to each one (very time consuming). I am still working from home 4 out of 5 days a week. I have access to the server from home, but when I try to use the material which were relinked in the office, the maps are missing again.
What I need to know is how is a company meant to set up their material libraries so that multiple people in different location can work on models together. This is putting a big problem into our workflow and i'm sure there must be a solution, but i can't find one?

I was hoping in 3.0 there was a solution for this, not sure if I have missed it in the release notes or new settings? Any one have any update or solutions yet or still waiting?

Hi Everyone,
Hopefully someone has had this happen and has a nice quick fix. Issue I am having is that I have made a wine dispenser, the wine bottles are behind a glass screen. The white wine bottles have inside them a liquid the colour of white wine. However when in enscape the white wine bottles now appear clear, like the liquid doesn't exist.....
See images with the glass hidden and in place and you will see the difference, anyone have any quick ideas that don't involve me having to model a new wine bottle?

Hi Olgashapiro , sadly this is a known issue with Enscape because of the real time rendering, hopefully soon they might have a fix or an update which means you can create amazing environments like this bathroom, until then you have to be clever with where you position a camera. Sorry there isn't a better answer you were looking for. There are some other threads about this issue, someone might suggest a clever approach but I am yet to find one.

Demian Gutberlet Just been checking the forum to find answer for email I just sent you, and this seems to be the same issues. I have just changed the settings as you said and this has fixed the crashing, my question is what quality in the rendering will be lost. Also I didn't have this issue before the latest Enscape release, so it seems odd?

Hi Raphel,
Looks to me that all you need to do is change the scaling of the object in the Custom Asset editor, currently set to 39.91meters!
If you look to the top right above the preview of the chair, there are some options, the top one is scaling. It seems that currently you always need to do this with files brought into the asset generator.

Thanks for responding to my post. I have responded to Rick with the feedback form.
I think I have found the issues. I re-named the overall texture folder that I have been using, and this has meant the links have dropped out, so not a case of moving files, but re-naming.

I have noticed recently that when I open a project that I have not worked on for a week or so and go in to do another render, some if not all of the texture maps I have linked disappear.
These are materials that I have put together in sketchup with links to normal/bump and reflection and then saved sketchup material into my library that I have on my hard-drive.
If I relink the textures and open up the file, the texture will be there again. See attached some screen grabs, as you can see sometimes only one of the maps is missing but usually it's both, and sometimes none. Does Enscape have a function like V-ray where you can check that all maps are linked with the model? Or do I have to check each one each time?
Is this a known issue or is there something I am doing wrong.

Hi Demian Gutberlet , just wanted to let you know that this asset is still in the incorrect position in the latest update to enscape, is it something you are planning to fix or will it be a constant issue? Is there a way for me to edit the block locally which can fix it for myself going forward? Thanks

Hi Guys,
I'm working on doing phasing renders for our jobs, it would be great help to have assets of various construction workers and also trades people, like plumbers/joiners/electricians as well as standard construction workers. It would really help brings these scenes to life and show the construction phase properly in process.

Hi there, just noticed that Floris Sitting on the phone, when you import this asset, he isn't sitting where the block proxy shows, you have to move the asset backwards, just wanted to highlight in case anyone hadn't noticed, could lead for some odd renders of people merged into tables!!!!
