+1 To add my request to this.
I've been trying to render some frameless glass railings in Revit. It is, to quote the architect, "not looking great". Bevelled edges would help tremendously with this.

I am adding my vote to this. I have resorted to using the depth map to work my way around to an alpha channel.
When this is implemented, please let us have a choice between "premultiplied" and "straight" alpha. Straight alpha is the most useful when compositing against a complex background such as a photo.

+1 for local custom assets.

Take a look at the tutorial Pieter posted and follow the instructions closely.
It won't look right straight out of Blender. You need to open the .GLTF file directly for editing, I highly recommend the Visual Studio Code app.

It works great! These are a few blooming assets I've converted and imported this morning.

Fantastic, thank you so much again Pieter!
Custom assets here I come.

You are a real asset, pun intended, to the community. Thank you for taking valuable time to help us other users.

Any chance on some more information on how to get alpha masking to work for us non-programmers? It is the last missing piece to start getting a decade long trail of 3D assets into Enscape.
I see mentions of opening the file and editing directly but I just can't seem to get it working.

+1.
Also more flowering shrubs

To show you don't need amazing hardware to use it; I'm here with a 2012 vintage ThinkPad T530 with NVS 5400 graphics.
Revit with Enscape "runs". Good enough to preview before rendering, but don't be in a hurry.
New RTX equipped laptop is on the way though and I can't wait to see the difference in performance.

I would like to add my voice to the chorus here. The stock library is lacking a lot of things I would use on a daily basis and you will never be able to satisfy power users no matter the quality of included content.
Custom assets should be a priority, not a "stretch goal".
