Micha yes it looks like a bug.
houseofmanuela would be great to have the project for reproducing the bug!

Hello houseofmanuela
Is this something that has the capacity to be improved upon or will there always be limitations?
It has capacity to be improved, but there always be limitations.
Overall quality will get better in future releases*, but some features like complex global illumination are not expected to be implemented for web due to the WebGL API limitations.
* - not exactly in the upcoming 2.5 release
Makes sense - but if that's the case, why do we get some slabs, columns and walls?
Enscape does reflect objects that are not on the screen, but very selectively to keep working in real time. What exactly gets reflected is decided based on a number of heuristics considering objects properties (number of triangles, size, distance, etc.).
Hi thinhpham
Are you using latest preview or release? AMD or NVidia? Which quality setting do you have in settings?
This is a known bug that was fixed in 2.4.2.4-g82727a0.
You may want to update to get rid of this black matter.
Display MoreI am trying this enscape program.
but so far the results are very bad.
look at the images.
is there a way to import/export all textures from revit?
this image is rendered directly on revit
Would you mind uploading the images you mention?
Chris W we've got it reproduced, thanks for reporting.
houseofmanuela thank you for the link.
The success highly depends on the art of geometry, how it is being uploaded to the GPU, etc., not on the file size only. High data size is a good sign that it will very probably not fit into memory, but it's only a sign and not guaranty. It may work if you are lucky enough In your case it's 297 MB (browser downloads compressed file), which is... well, may not work.
Next release will prevent a lot of such crashes and will stop loading the scene if it will not fit, showing a warning message about missing geometry. And we will do our best to improve model loading pipeline to reduce the number of such cases.
By the way, your project makes my PC crash completely when I open it in Firefox. It does start in Chrome but works very laggy. We will check that.
Hello Yvalverde
The button is on your first screenshot in the section "Video"
Hi Bogdan!
Looks like a bug. Could you please send us a feed back and provide an example scene to our support?
Or if it is easy to reproduce, line out the steps to do it here
and one example :
I find chair legs fine. One thing that really floats is the plant pot. Too dark for my taste
One other thing I noticed related to the current preview occurs when clicking on the "about" tab I get an error in the dialogue.
This is a known bug which will be fixed in the next Preview which we will publish soon.
The glass artifact is something we didn't see before. There is a known similar problem, but it was considered Nvidia-only so far. Do you have single GPU in your PC or more? Does it occur every time you start Enscape? Does it go away if you resize the window?
Hello Chris.
Could you please post a screenshot with the artifact example?
I'm having the same problem. Using RTX 2080's with latest drivers. Windows 10 pro & Sketchup 2018. I've tried both the official release and latest preview. I can't remember exactly when the issue started....but I want to say it was about 2 official releases ago..?
Do you have one or two GPUs in your PC?
I'm not sure I follow the logic here?,
the water needs to animate consistently, not just while your moving?.. If it's a power thing wouldn't it make more sense to have the animation static while your moving and animate when your not moving. To have the water animate when you putting the most stress thru your GPU moving the camera around the model, and still when your not makes no sense with regards saving power?
To be honest it looks like a bug more that intentional?..
Other than that it's pretty friken awesome software, from what I've seen so far..
Water and sky animation stops for two reasons:
1. As Simon said, we don't want to constantly load your PC with Enscape, which may easily eat up most of your GPU and CPU resources while you still want to continue convenient work in CAD and other software
2. Enscape does heavy calculations across multiple still frames to give the best image - doing it each frame will not let you navigate in real time. Disabling it will give worse image quality + see first reason
+ ultimate solution - doubleclick to fly to target.
Hello Peter.
One hour sounds like too much. Could you please contact our support via Feedback button and share your model with us if possible?
Thanks!
Bogdan meanwhile you can use the material ID export option to easily create outlines in post production.

Press ESC when you are done with placing particular asset to get the window back
I can also send more projects and give an explanation of the steps to reproduce if you need more examples.
Thank would be great! I'll contact yoiu via PM.
Is it possible to release a version that retains the asset option but otherwise is the same as the previous version
I'm afraid it is not possible.
