Not sure why but when I nested an Enscape light onto a new revit lighting fixture family to apply a light source and loaded it into my project, Enscape rendered the asset all white and won't show the materials.

Oh Gosh. Wow ! Things people in this forum do
Kudos to you

Tell me about it!
I'm glad I posted my stuff early in this thread. Having seen the amazing stuff others have posted I don't think I'd have had the balls to show mine
Hahaha.. that is so funny. These are indeed some amazing renders. But I think Enscape is powerful only with Sketchup. I am not sure if these can be achieved with Revit w/o crazy amount of post processing. I would love to be wrong here.

Phil Read That's a good idea. I will do just that until Enscape allows adding motion. Thank you as always for your detailed explanations.

MTH I am glad I found your channel on Youtube. Very informative.

So earlier I was trying to figure out how to have TV tuned on in the walkthrough and with the awesome help received here I was able to get that to work. Now I have a new requirement
. My walkthrough is of a container housing unit in which I go from living area to bedroom to bathroom etc. When walking from one room into another, I walk through doors and I was wondering if there is a feature of adding motion to the doors where they actually swing open so I can walk in instead of walking right through the door panel. I am not even sure if I am asking too much but is there such a feature in Enscape?

Phil Read You technique worked. You are a life saver. Thank you so much.

Any suggestion on where to download video textures from for use in renderings ?

I have the same question - Enscape + Sketchup is way above and beyond the quality of Enscape + Revit. Why?
-
So enscape lights are just fixtures without actual lighting (which I am not sure why). I had asked this question to someone earlier and they said you can create a new light fixture family and bring in the enscape asset and define your light source. then load this new family into your project and you should have a light source in the enscape lighting asset. It all works but the problem is the asset ends up showing as a white block in enscape and I am not sure why. Did anybody else encounter this issue and found a solution?
See snippet below of the actual enscape light asset and the one where I added the light source

+1 and for size changes as well

Can somebody enlighten me on how to play with displacement of materials in revit?
-
jmariper I did try that but somehow it never worked for me. I am going to give it a shot again.
The other thing I tried was to scale the video texture in the path so it is much larger than the TV screen and would occupy the whole screen. But even then it would scale it up off centered.
Phil Read That is a great explanation. Will try it out.

Awesome... everything done in revit and enscape?

I am a newbie to rendering and now getting more and more into it as my work is demanding me to. Here is something I created using Revit and Enscape and I am looking for feedback from experts on how and what to improve on as my amateur eyes are not able to tell how the lighting and ambience is and how to make it realistic.

May I ask where you get your textures from ? They look amazing.
