Hi All,
I'm having trouble loading a model in the latest version of enscape 2.4? Anyone else having difficulties?
It's quite heavy but there was no issue with the last version.
Best,
Nick

Hi - It's not an error as such. Just doesn't make a difference if the colour by layer function is ticked. Is it written into the code to allow this?
Dear Enscape,
Is there anyway to have the enscape model show the material properties as per layer when the "colour by layer" function is checked? Please see attachment.
I apply materials in sketchup via the layer tabs (as opposed to with the paint bucket) to make my workflow more efficient and be able to change the material of large groups of objects quickly. Similar to how the materials are applied in Rhino.
The enscape models still shows the textures in the model as per what has been selected with the paint bucket tool even when the colour by layer box is checked.
Thanks

Thanks! Works well

Hi - I have the latest release - where is this function located?

Simon,
Have sent you a link

Hi Brian,
Sounds like the exact same problem. Especially the inconsistency - if i close and open the model the pink or green shades turn up elsewhere and seems to be random. It also certainly seems to be an issue when one material is used across a large number of multiple layers (Perhaps also when the model texturing is assigned by layer?). Which is a problem as this is definitely something that I imagine a lot of people will want to do in order to streamline workflows and control their rendering in a way similar to 3Dds max.
I have tried creating a work session model and that has solved it which is great.
However it is definitely something that the enscape team should look at.
Simon - I am more than happy to send you my model if it would help?
Best,
Nick
Hi,
Is anyone else having a problem with textures not making it through from the rhino material editor to enscape correctly?
I attach some screenshots.
First of all with normal sized files and until i made this one heavy with furniture and plant geometry it was working fine! So it maybe is a memory issue? Or enscape not dealing with the increased amount of geometry in the file? (now 600mb)
But since adding furniture / plants a few of the layers are not texturing correctly and appear either purple or green when they should be dark black?
You can kind of work around it by changing the items on the layer that isn't rendering correctly (the purple) to one that is (such as the dark grey column adjacent) but a bit annoying to do so.
Any ideas would be great as it's so close!

Great thanks
Hi All,
My enscape is not able to render blocks or extrusions.
The Extrusions are invisible (not there) and the blocks whilst visible are textured strangely and the geometry moved to a different location.
It can be solved by exploding both these elements (and then everything runs perfectly) but is there a way of getting this to work without having to do this?

Hi Enscape!
Is there any plans for a batch render function for Enscape? Similar to 3ds max?
Ideally one which allows you to import in the cameras you would like to render from Rhino (as is possible at the moment) but then render / export them all out with the click of a button?
Apologies if this is already possible - if so can you point me how to do it?
Best,
Nick
