xxl investing resources for BricsCAD without a user base wouldn't benefit our user base and us.
But it seems pretty promising. We'll have a look at it.
Thanks for sharing!
Did you have a look at it?

... even though I am far away to help in any way - Compliment for what you show already now - everything, your water, this stone slabs, this scene are wonderful!
yes, it's depressing, people showing unfinished work, i can only dream of.
btw, do you draw your models in SU? Or do you import from another CAD app? I can't imagine drawing in SU...
no, didn't find any mistakes, there is nothing wrong with it. Shadows should be rendered correctly. It's a nice model, i even stole some textures. At least i'm honest about it. As far as my name, thank you, i'm xxl but that doesn't mean i'm fat, i'm just 6 feet 7 or 2m, not fat.
I can reproduce the problem. It seems the further the sill is away the from camera the more pronounced the problem seems to be.
For me increasing shadow sharpness improves it, but doesn't solve it.
If you increase thickness to 50 cm it starts to improve, this is 75cm.
Only black plaster can solve your problem
This is a Sketchup thread Micha
Interesting - the sharpness of shadows can be controlled? Of the sun or of the lights? I don't see an option here.
yeah, enscape is full of surprises, i discovered it today! Sun only, i think.
Does the Atmosphere, Sky Orbs, shadow sharpness setting have any effect?
QuoteIt works as a replacement for led strips quite nicely but unfortunately you cant direct the light and the shape of light it produces is circular rather than rectangular.
I've noticed this too, when i place it close against a wall it becomes a circular light.
Why not already start with using ENSCAPE_ASSET as a keyword in the asset library already.

I'm new to sketchup, it would be interesting if there was a tutorial or maybe rules and quality standards...
I'm f.e. used to work with layers within CAD environment, however, in sketchup i tend to use only layer '0'. i import blocks from cad to sketchup so they become components and i can distinguish them as different elements and add different materials.
This previous model was made using an imported stl.
I made a new version with surfaces only and thus less polygons.

It is still visible.
Hello,
i was working on a pendant lamp and noticed some gaps in the bowl and wood, allthough my model seems to be fine.
I included the model.
ty
thx for clearing this.
Something else, are there any plans in enscape that would make it possible to change materials in the model RT using controllers?
Not sure if this is the right place to post, sorry if it is.
I'm new to VR and all this stuff and have been playing around with a HTC vive pro and enscape for a while now. All nice. But it's not very portable.
Is it possible to use a VR setup that works without basestations and that runs on basic hardware? Are there any alternatives? Like game consoles?
With the Oculus Go you are limited to viewing pano's?
ty!
I'll add another upvote.
SKETCHUP and REVIT pls!
hi, are there any other webinars available for download?
how do you use this image because i still don't seem to get the wanted effect.
thx
thx ryan, i'll have a look at that!
I own this for about 2 weeks. i use it like you "inverted unchecked". Wouldn't want to change it and can't do without it anymore.
