Hello, any news if this is possible ? Maybe in Revit 2024 ? I have a Navisworks .nwd file and I want to display it in Enscape.
Thanks !

JSANDERS Herbo has a great forum thread about importing google maps -> RE: Tutorial: Using Google Maps 3D Data in Enscape
Very nice ! Unfortunately we use Revit in our company, not sketchup..
-
Any news on point cloud being compatible with Enscape ? One of the goals is to have google maps 3D be compatible with Enscape...

Here's a couple of pano viewing sites:
https://renderstuff.com/tools/360-panorama-web-viewer/
- Simple upload. No sharing. Good for testing. Has nice links for instructions to host your own pano files
https://panoraven.com/en/share-360-photo
- Inexpensive hosting, sharing and tour creation
Hope this temp solution gets you past the deadline.
Hi Phil thanks for the message.
Unfortunately, I can't even download my panoramas. I can't do anything, I'm indefinitely stuck since ALL panoramas have the message "Waiting for migration...." and :
- I can't download them
- I can upload them to the cloud
- I can't see the QR Code
- I can't copy the QR Code
- I can't press on any button
This is getting quite urgent I hope there will be a fix soon ! Please help me.
-
Thanks for answering. This is quite problematic since I can't access anymore my 360 panoramas, so this puts us in a bad situation for a client render
Please come back to me ASAP when the fix is here thanks !!

Hello,
Today I logged in to upload all my 360° panorama to Enscape website. I use Revit. I did this a few hours ago, and on https://my.enscape3d.com/account#!/upload there is still nothing.
I can't access my panoramas anymore, I can't see the QR Code. It's sutck on "Waiting for Migration" on all of the panoramas.
What do I do ? I restarted Revit and rebooted the PC still the same problem. Please help !! Thanks

Hello,
I have Sketchup 2023 and Enscape 3.5.0. I'm using Enscape ok Sketchup for the 1st time in a couple of years. It used to work. We usually use Revit daily but for this project we have a .skp file. I have a Sketchup Trimple license.
When I launch Enscape, it's very weird there is no shadows, no textures, no cloud, my mouse and movement parameters are set to default and I can't change them even though the slider moves.
Something very weird and buggy is happening and I don't know what. Anyone have any ideas ?
Here's what the scene looks like. as you can see, no shadows, the scene is very dark.

Hello,
I have quite a problem because I would like to have all building in the site context be placed on a flat straight level.
I've put a google maps 16k render image around my project (because Enscape site context has no grass options) and I've used the Enscape site context to generate the buildings. Everything is placed correctly :
However some buildings go up or down compared to this level due to the real topography of the terrain. It is possible to ask Enscape to simply place those buildings on level 0 ? For all buildings ?
Here we can see buildings underneath level 0
This would be great thanks !

Hello,
I have some questions about possible site context settings.
Is there any way to export all parameters of a site context from one file to another (like your exact location, rotation and other settings already made)?
I know it is possible to disable and enable the topography view, but is there any way to only disable the relief, in other words, how to make the whole site context flat and with the ground visible?
Thanks,

I checked and installed the most recent Revit hotfix 2022.1.21.13 - 20220123_1515(x64) and my Revit still crashes when I export an IFC with Enscape 3.3 preview 5
-
JSANDERS , this issue should be resolved with our latest Enscape 3.3 preview 5 which you can acquire here:
https://enscape3d.com/preview/
There may still be some ongoing issues regarding this specific behavior, so if that is the case for your users as well, please also kindly tell them to submit us a further Feedback Report which I can then forward to our developers.
Hello Demian, I installed prevew version 3.3 with the link your shared. I tried on both Revit versions :
- Revit 2022 : After pressing the export IFC button, Revit crashes. I have sent a feedback report.
- Revit 2021 : After pressing the export IFC button, Revit doesn't crash.
May I also note that I have installed the IFC 2021 Exporter from Autodesk : https://apps.autodesk.com/RVT/…ex?id=7265544480016320144 Maybe this helps in a way ?Still this is very problematic for our company, hopefully the devs can fix this fast since the solution seems to have been found by some excellent work from people in this thread.

We have the same problem at our company, 5 users with Revit 2022 with Enscape 3.2. When we all export to IFC Revit crashes every single time.
When we downgrade from Enscape 3.2 to Enscape 3.1 this problem disappears for everyone, so it seems Enscape 3.2 is causing a problem for IFC export.
Has this problem been recognized ? Is a solution on it's way ?

Hello,
I was watching this very interesting video on how to import Google Maps 3D into revit :External Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms. We have provided more information on this in our privacy policy. They end up with a RCS file (Recap point could or mesh file) into Revit. Except this file will not be visible in Enscape. Will this be possible one day ?
Also I guess my question is : Is there a way to see google maps in 3D in Enscape ?
Thanks ! -
Hello,
The problem is simple, I want to click on the edge of the BIM window and drag it so that I can increase the width of it so that I can read the information.
Is this possible ?
Here is a screenshot of my problem : https://i.imgur.com/TSkvhu6.png

I was sorting out my files and got back to a souvenir from 2 years ago. I was testing the utter limits of Enscape and decided to put about 10,000 trees on a huge map with grass and details up on maximum, then render a short video. The video lasts 20 seconds, but took about 90 hours to render ! This was in 2017.

Hi joseph,
As Maarso pointed out, there is a simple button that will open up a convenient menu for you
Regards~

Try Navis to FBX to DXF to Revit to Enscape.
You are a brave fellow !

I am also greatly in need to be able see an NWD file with Enscape. Even today, I have an NWD file, I can import it into Revit, but I can't see it in Enscape. It's frustrating to explain to my colleagues / superioers to explain why it doesn't work and they ask me to find another way, so do I have to look for another software ?
My company would be delighted to pay more to have this feature.
Please put this as high priority on your list, it would make Enscape that much better...
Thanks -
Ok thanks for the reply. We really look forward to be able to display navisworks into enscape !
